(Golden Age of Gaia)

When I die, am I going to look back on my life and say, “man, I wish I had had more fun!” .
Or am I going to see that I should have taken life more seriously.
Perhaps more travel or more quiet, less work, more time with family.
Am I going to wish I had done something differently than I am doing now?
The New year is approaching quickly and it is time for the infamous New Year’s resolutions.
Never mind all the other factors in play right now, New Moon, mercury retrograde, the great shift, massive awakenings.
This is a traditional time for us all to take a pause and look at how we want to be living our lives.
Personally I think this is something to do every morning with a good cup of coffee. Which is kinda what I am doing now.
I am the kind of person however that sees even the rough and tough times in life as perfect just as they are.
Given an opportunity to redo those experiences that I am not fond of, I wouldn’t change a thing.
They are what made me who I am today.
My curiosity here is an attempt to look into the future so that I might have hindsight on how to be now.
This is an exercise that started from an entirely different train of thought.
Shifting gears a bit let me go into reverse and explore what I found the other day.
Back from my travels, I have tucked into my life with the best intentions.
Things are still the same but everything has changed.
I have arrived at this point in my journey with a new perspective.
I am looking at the same old things, differently.
Now I can see the frayed edges and have clarity on where some trimming needs to happen.
For example, I looked at a bookshelf used primarily for candles.
It looked messy and I realized it had been that way for a few years.
Time to correct that, I got a box and removed anything that didn’t suit my fancy anymore.
When I had finished 80% of what had been there was now gone.
What was left looked better and more importantly, felt better.
It took me very little time to do this project but the insights were a lifetime in the making.
Everything I picked up had a memory attached to it.
These were just candles mind you but, each one of them came from somewhere and had a reason for being on the bookshelf.
I bought this candle because of.. blah. This was a gift from so and so.
Fond memories and wonderful hours of candle light were relived in record time.
I was realizing that each item had a program attached to it.
My memories and those moments were attached to this physical object.
By hanging on to these physical objects I was hanging onto a program, an attachment, to that special something that has long since passed.
But as long as I had those objects the program was still at play.
This is why we are so good at buying mementos everywhere we go.
We like the moment and want to remember it. so we buy the thing. the snow globe, a t shirt or even better we find that perfect wall hanging.
There is nothing wrong with this. It’s actually a clever way to keep fond memories alive.
We humans are very good at material records.
Hey if I was affluent enough I would build a Taj Mahl.
This is a classic example that immortalized a touching memory that can be shared by all.
I cleaned the shelf. Spent candles were not the Taj Mahl.
I was pleased with my fresh look and kept going from shelf to shelf until I had quickly cleaned the entire room.
Every item that remains in the room I have vetted and agreed to keep that program in play.
Some items I saw with fresh eyes and set new intentions with them.
Its like they were waiting for me to give them attention so that they could help me in their own way.
I believe that energy and vibration is attached to or comes from everything that exists.
How could it not if it exists?
By clearing my space of material items that no longer serve my current purposes it opened the space for fresh new energy to flow.
This is Fung Shui
And I was able to see the running programs that are no longer necessary.
This was eye opening.
While I have found wisdom in clearing space, shedding baggage and revealing old programs that do not serve, I also found a new dimension.
It is the unseen realm that is all around us all the time.
When working with energy we have so much available to us.
What will it take for us to engage on this level?
We are in the season of gift giving.
This has turned into a season of material giving and has pick up a bad reputation as well as stress filled traditions.
I myself am a practical gifter. I have a need to have purpose attached to giving.
Here child, friend, cousin, this is something I thought you need.
But in light of my fresh perspective my traditions may shift.
You might say those spent candles gave me one more flicker of light.
There is nothing that we can not achieve.
Christmas is perfect for launching this project in a way that we already have established.
Give the gift, whatever it may be. Give it with intention and that is the energy it will carry.
I don’t think it matters what it is. I mean within reason.
When you receive a gift, how will you recieve it ?
Everything we do, give and receive carries an energetic connection.
Christmas is a tradition of love.
New years is a tradition of new beginnings.
I think we got it right folks. This is Global.
Let’s do this thing.
Maybe, just maybe we can do this every morning.
And when I die, I am sure I will look back at my life and wouldn’t change a thing.
