This 3D mental/emotional world is structured so that one attitudinal thing cannot exist without its opposite.
It’s the existence of the opposite, to which one adheres, that makes for the persistence of the thing itself. For instance, like is relative to dislike. Good is relative to bad. Beautiful is relative to ugly. Etc.
Another example: I once said to Archangel Michael that I wondered whether forgiveness was a temporary thing because on the higher dimensions there’s nothing to forgive. It must fall into disuse and be forgotten. He agreed.
I’ve lived in an atmosphere of higher-dimensional love and bliss in which I lost all awareness of opposites. Where there are no obstacles, no opposites to fight with, there is flow.

The organizers of Global Awareness Day said something that really struck me:
“Global Love Day is the universal recognition of our innate oneness through love. …
“We are one humanity on this planet.
All life is interconnected and interdependent.
All share in the Universal bond of love. …
“When we come from this limitless love we naturally and easily embrace ourselves and our fellow humanity.” (1)
The problem they solved for me is that I’ve had trouble imagining or visualizing humanity coming together in unity, approached directly. But coming together in unity through love, now that makes perfect sense. I can imagine that.
And of course this “limitless love” they speak of, this transformative love will unify. It is universal, shared by everyone.
All we want to do when we’re in the experience of it is to share it. And share it and share it. That unifies!
It itself is endless (2) and so wonderful that we have no qualms about sharing it as we would with a scarce commodity. I recall Mary Magdalene once saying, share it with abandon. Throw love around the room! That exuberance and openness is characteristic of finding oneself in such an elevating and rewarding space.

I speculate that, when we love so freely and exuberantly as Mary Magdalene suggests, we open ourselves and raise ourselves to such a height that we can THEN realize unity.

(2) Archangel Michael: So what you do when you bring the love up and out, when you begin to send, to share – it is as if you have in fact activated what we call the wellspring. The visual you may think of is the volcano.
It is not that you empty out. It is that you discover that that wellspring is SO full and overflowing that it is a steady stream.
