Lesson 2: Feeling the Energy Field
Becoming an intuitive is not just about seeing, as a matter of fact it is about all your senses coming to play in discerning life. The energy field can be felt. Think of all the times that you were close to someone, perhaps a loved one, and you got the sense of who they are and what they were feeling as they got close to you. Compare that to a time that this same person was nowhere near you. At these times you had very little sense of them, didn't you?
Think of a time when you knew someone was standing behind you but of course since you don't have eyes in the back of your head, how would you know that? It's because you felt their energy field with your energy field. Your energy field alerted you to their presence.
Task for Week 2: Go back and think about times you can recall like this. Practise sensing others when they are close by and when they are absent. How do they feel? Yes, intellectually you know that people are absent when they are not near you, but these words are also created to describe the sense of their absence as well.

Lesson 3: Observing the Energy Field
The energy field expands and contracts. When you are expanded you can sense more around you. When you are contracted, your energy field feels less around you and gives you less feedback.
Task for Week 3: Have a friend hold a wire clothes hanger in their hand loosely by the bottom. Have them touch you with the hook at the top as you stand facing them. Have them walk backwards, holding the bottom of the hanger loosely, until such time the hanger swings, of its own accord, to the left or right. This indicates the end of your energy field. Try to see if you can contract your energy field or expand it and have them do this again.

Lesson 4: Sensing Different Types of Energy
Energy is either positive, negative or neutral. It carries emotions upon it. If you can learn to read it well, you can garner a lot of information just by walking into a room. Some people have psychic (clairvoyant) skills and can listen to people's thoughts or feel their emotions just by being near them. Some can do this without being near another person, they just have to think of them and they know how they're feeling or what they're thinking because they have connected with their energy.
Task for Week 4: Go to the mall or another public area. Close your eyes and try to sense the energy. Do not try too hard. Do not force it. Just allow it to come to you. Sit quietly and peacefully. Also, watch to see if your mood changes. This could be because of the energy you are sensing.
Then go to a place such as a mountain trail, or a tree lot or a quiet public park. A floral greenhouse is also another good area to visit. What are these areas telling you about their energy? How does it feel to you? Does it feel negative or positive? Or perhaps does it feel light and airy or heavy? See what kind of description you can get when you go into these places. Also see if you prefer some places over others. Hospitals and banks tend to be two types of places that people who are sensitive to energy tend to avoid.
