We’re Energy. We’re Love. We’re God | Steve Beckow

Matthew said something that’s rattling around in my head – a realization waiting to happen. He said:

“Everything is energy; therefore everything is connected.” (1)

I think most of us have already heard the expressions that everything is love and everything is God.

Does that mean that God is energy? And energy is love?

Let’s think about that for a moment. I’d be prepared to say that the Mother is energy – or at least that which distinguishes God playing the role of Mother from God playing the role of Father is that the Mother moves and the Father does not. I think of energy as always moving.

The Mother herself says:

“Sometimes you tend to think of me as the Holy Spirit, but there is more to me than that, and there is a shade of the Father within there as well. But I am known by the movement within you and the movement within your Earth, within all things, within all universes.

“I am a birther and a giver. I am the unchanging movement, and the constantly changing movement. I am the rhythm. I am the flow. I am Mother.” (2)

Spiritus means breath. The Mother is the Holy Spirit; that is, the breath of God, the movement of the Divine, the Creator, Preserver, and Transformer of life.

Breath signifies energy (Shakti). AUM is the primal creative energy or vibration, It’s the Word of God, the Sound-Brahman. Akar (in-breath) creates; Ukar (pause) preserves; and Makar (out-breath) transforms. The Mother is the Breath of God that moved upon the waters and created Heaven and Earth, creating, preserving, and transforming using her instrument, Aum.

Energy moves. The Mother moves. I’d be prepared to see the Mother as energy.

What life is all about is for us to realize increasingly more refined levels of reality. Everything about the Mother takes place in a certain domain. At some point our realization transcends that domain and we realize the Father in the stillness and silence beyond matter (mater, Mother).

The Mother says: “Let us be very basic. My essence is love. ” (3)

Her essence is love and her essence is energy. Therefore: love = energy = Mother God. I can hear you asking: What about the Father?

I’m guessing but I’d think: Realization = Truth = Father God. Remember that, in my view, the purpose of life is for us to realize our true identity because, in that moment, God meets God. And for that moment was all of this created. (4) So the purpose of life is a matter of knowledge, realization.

That realization includes knowledge of the Self and the Mother, but it’s not complete without knowledge of the Father.

I particularly like the thoughts that God is energy and that God is love and that love = energy. I can almost “get” unitive consciousness when I think that we’re all energy – the same energy – and that that energy is love.

I can almost grasp it. Not quite. I lack the bliss to raise me to the height needed for realization. That could come at any time if I just sit with the dawning awareness.

The Mother says:

“Sweet Angels, it is not an illusion that we are of the same energy. It is not something that needs to be made up or manufactured. It is the truth of who I am, and it is the very truth of who you are. “(5)

So she acknowledges that at essence we and she are of the same energy; we already know that that energy – her essence – is love.

What unites us all is that we’re all energy; we’re all love.

The “energy” part speaks to my intellect; the “love” part appeals to my heart. This is gradually sinking into me: We’re energy. We’re love. We’re God.
