The words formed in my mind: “Come alive to your own magnificence!”
I can only guess that a certain someone was wanting to put the idea in my head. He succeeded.
But it wasn’t the words that struck me. It was my response to the words. Something inside me stirred.
I said to myself, you know, some day you’re going to have to do that – come alive to your own magnificence.
Well, alright. And I began to stand more erect, feel the ground under my feet, experience my own determination….
I began to notice some of my accomplishments instead of my lacks.
Life looked at from this vantage point seemed like a slow ascent from here to magnificence and we all seem to be wherever we are.
But sooner or later, each and every one of us will have to come alive to our own magnificence.
And the irony of it is: All of it will be by our own say-so. It can never be any other way, for any of us.
Who will go first?
