This episode will be about desire force. The mind is like a car, a machine that needs tender, loving care.
Emotions are your guidance system. For how you feel is the direct consequence of your thoughts. Jealousy has an effect upon the bile, and causes it to poison the blood. Fear causes paralysis. Hate causes insanity. These are poisons of bad thinking.
If you give way to fit of rage, you will find it easier to become angry the next time, on less provocation. People start by worrying about big things, and then begin to worry about some smaller thing. Each indulgence making the habit more at home. Envy, uncharitableness, gossip, scandal-mongering, are all habits of this kind.
Each time you give way to one of these negative emotions, the easier do you make it for a recurrence of the same thing, or similar ones. This is merely a calling of your attention to the law underlying the psychology of emotions.
If we wish to conquer emotional tendencies in ourselves, we must earnestly before they cultivate outwardly. You can also cultivate the feeling or emotion directly opposed to the one you wish to eradicate.
We tend to regard ourselves as the creatures of our emotions and feelings, and to fancy that these feelings and emotions are “we.” But that is far from being the truth. Neuropsychology and Neurophysics is teaching that we are masters of our emotions and feelings, instead of being the slave. People may make themselves over, and change their entire natures and realities.
The brain is the organ and instrument of the mind, having millions of keys, upon which we may play innumerable combinations of sounds. The best way is to pay as little attention as possible to these weeds of the mind, but put in as much time as possible watering, caring for and attending to the new beautiful plants in the garden of the mind.
This is the difference between the Master of Circumstances and the Slave of Circumstances. A Master knows that all are his for the asking and he demands to play. March into the Great Unknown will a smile on your face.
These films are about the second attention. The power to see the unseen. In order to change the world on the outside we must change it on the inside. For our consciousness and energy is what creates reality, your life, your purpose and your destiny.
