Me: Ivo, I was reading an article on Zen this morning about losing our attachment to things. Rising above it, because of course having things is about living in the physical. I don't know that living with nothing is really what we're supposed to do on earth but I'm not sure that the buddhists are saying that either although the monks do. I'm no monk and I'm sure people watching this aren't either.

Ivo: My love, this article makes a good point. However it is extreme. Yes, you do need things in life to get through the physical, however many of you have gone the other direction and become materialists. You have too much stuff. And of course because this needs to be purchased, it can cause a problem with one's finances. You have in fact, too much abundance.

Life is about seeking balance, my love. And the balance in your dimension is about balance between the physical and non-physical. Your people are “overly physical” let us call it that.

Me: I see that.

Ivo: You at the moment have too many things. You like to collect knick-knacks and have too much for your current requirements. You have collected things over the years that you would now like to throw out. You are doing so as you anticipate this next move to a home next door to your current one.

You are throwing out stuff that you no longer have an attachment to. You are keeping that which you find still appeals to you for sentimental reasons or that it is beautiful and will help you create a more pleasant countenance for your apartment.

Me: You mean it will make my apartment look nicer.

Ivo: Yes. Throwing out that which no longer serves you is creating balance. Those items you have no specific need or want of must be released because in fact they are keeping you off balance. Everything you own is a reflection of what you value, in other words. It is not an expression of yourself but it is in a material sense.

Me: Maybe that's why there are so many decluttering people out there, showing how to streamline one's life.

Ivo: Yes, this would be such. Also Feng Shui. Working with energies to create a calming situation in one's home.

Me: We're getting there. People are waking up.

Ivo: Yes, and you must understand as well that what you collect is also adding energy to your home. You collect brass and copper and these are higher energy metals that you find appealing but they also add a higher vibration to your home. In the same way that gems do, these metals increase your home's vibration.

Me: They didn't work for my parents.

Ivo: Yes, I did not say that they change the vibration of the person, only the vibration of the surroundings.

Me: LOL

Ivo: An understanding of alchemy will help one in making a choice with these metals.

Another point I wish to make is that you are all creators, however you misuse your creative abilities. And this shows in your homes as well. Are you hanging on to things that no longer serve you? Clothing that doesn't fit? Things you no longer cherish and have no meaning for you?

That is one way to look at it.

The other way to see it is you believe in yourselves as limited beings and you choose accordingly. How many have said, “Oh, I can't do that!” or “That's impossible.” As in, that is impossible FOR ME. Because everything you say relates back to yourself.

Me: Yes.

Ivo: How many have seen these videos and said, “Oh, I cannot do that!” in response to something Sharon has endeavoured. Sharon has done well so far as she contemplates replacing her current income with self-employed income and understands that she saw herself as a teacher as a child, and now realizes that she is here to become a teacher to those who would seek time with her.

Me: Yes, spiritual coaching.

Ivo: Yes, and of course she will have her assistants ready to guide her in giving responses.

Me: I know! I've never been so smart before! LOL However, I believe the information that we channel in videos has to be free. All need to see this, however those seeking personal help I'll start a part time business with. I want to see how I do with my energy this winter to see if I drop dead of exhaustion like I have other years, and if it goes well, I'll start up in the spring, most likely.

Of course, my rates will be reasonable because I don't believe in ripping people off. I see there's a need because there are so many people who are waiting when what they're waiting for is themselves. We have to get this RV rolling out and it takes high vibraters to do that! I have one stipulation: that the people do the work. If they want to get channelings, they learn to do them themselves rather than depend on me for them. I will only enable your ascension process, not your unwillingness to do the work.

Ivo: By that time perhaps our next book on “Understanding Multi-dimensionality and Your Contact Experience” will be completed.

Me: I think so. I already have the table of contents completed.

Ivo: As for misusing one's energy, you are about to go shopping for a side table for your new apartment. You have a specific use for it and nothing you own now will work. Now, this is an experiment in creating abundance. Many of you will settle for things that do not suit your needs appropriately. You may get a table, for example but it will not be exactly to your specifications and you will make do. This is incorrect. Sharon does this and so she now has a cupboard for her clothing that is actually intended for television. It is a TV stand. And she has adapted it and it is not working for her.

Me: Yes. LOL

Ivo: Because she bought the wrong item. She did not wait to attract what she required, she bought something that appealed to her, or she bought something that she intended to use otherwise and adapted it. Now my love, as you go shopping, be sure to wait until you find what you are looking for. If it will not work, do not settle. This is impatience and not allowing the universe to provide properly for your needs.

Me: Yup.

Ivo: You must have absolute faith that you will find what you want. Nothing less than.

Me: Yes.

Ivo: If it is not perfect for your needs, do not buy it, otherwise that too, will be a waste of money.

Me: So you're saying, Ivo, that the reason so many aren't good at creating abundance is because they've been misusing these abilities – not doing it right – so they don't see the great creator they really are.

Ivo: Yes, in fact I am.

The love seat you are sitting on is incorrect for you. You are one who likes to sleep on the couch and take naps frequently. Had you had a couch you would have been more comfortable napping. You still do it but it does not work as well as the last couch you had. My love, you know what you want – a couch you can sleep on – but you do not allow yourself to have it.

When you misuse your creational abilities in these ways, what in fact is happening is you are not reaching your peak ability. You are settling for less than what you want and in so doing, you are affirming that life will not provide for your needs. Looking at what misguided beliefs lie behind these actions is necessary. Why is it okay for you to have a shorter couch than you need? Why is it okay to have furniture you cannot properly store your clothing in? Why not just get what you want?

Me: I'm hearing, “I didn't have the money.” That may or may not have been the case, I can't remember.

Ivo: You were one to take jobs in places that you did not want to work and then lowballing your salary expectations, as you call it, to make sure you got the job. This is not creating abundance – this is creating lack. And you realized this afterwards. Experiencing lack at a job will not enamour you of the workplace.

Me: Guilty as charged.

Ivo: There is no courtroom here my love, I am simply pointing out how you have been misusing your creational abilities and you are not the only one. We know who is watching and listening.

Me: And smacking themselves on the forehead and going, “Oh yeah! He's right!” LOL

Ivo: Awareness is key. Hold out for what you need.

Me: And make sure it's something that's do-able. If it's a million dollars flipping hamburgers then of course that's not reasonable.

Ivo: Yes. Believe in your ability to create what you want. Believe that getting what you want is your due. Because it is. You would not be sent to earth to help out others if you could not help yourself first, my love. And I will repeat that because this is important for all lightworkers to hear: You would not be sent to earth to help out others if you could not help yourselves first.

Me: Yeah, doesn't make sense, does it?

Ivo: It does not. You are all fully capable of attracting abundance. Fully.
