Awakening
Hundreds, maybe thousands and thousands of years,
How long has it been since I left home, my brothers?
Through the veils that are thinner and thinner each day,
I remember.
The light is piercing through what once was darkness.
Cascades of your love pouring through my veins.
It was all a long sleep, without memories
It was all like a sort of dream that couldn't last for much longer...
How hard must have been the moment when we said good bye,
Although,
You are whispering back:
"it was so much love to give , you were so happy to leave..."
Hundreds, if not thousands of years, what is time,
But the fugitive passage of thought through this or other distant universe...
And then you are home again.
