Maybe you’re the Babe Ruth we’ve all been waiting for

As executives in humanitarian-philanthropic organizations, we’re going to be called upon to make decisions and give our reasons for them.

Others in the organization will also be charged with making formal decisions and stating why they decided as they did.

Have we a model to follow, fully knowing that it could be used as a template in another universe in a future Ascension?

As a person who’s made 1500 written or oral decisions in eight years at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada, I’m willing to take a first crack at the bat.

I hope it inspires someone else to hit a home run with it. We’re building Nova Earth. We’re on the same team.

A formal decision for me has the following elements:

(1) A problem has been defined.

(2) A need for action – a decision – has been identified and needs to be made.

(3) All relevant evidence is gathered.

(4) The principles below assessment are established – fairness, equality, religious freedom, etc. The best statements of them become the underpinning, the precedent for the decision.

(4) All evidence is weighed against these statements of the principles and other tools for establishing credibility – in calm and cool reflection. Some evidence is rejected as not being credible.

(5) The various possible decisions are weighed, tried on, and tested against the credible remainder of evidence to see if they fit and resonate with the heart. Checks are made for cultural bias. Some decisions are rejected.

(6) The one that’s chosen is given a brief, final check for neutrality, consistency, and agreement with the credible remainder of evidence.

(7) The decision is confirmed and the reasons for it are communicated clearly, concisely, and completely.

No decisions are made under duress. The independence of the decision maker is respected.
