Turning Point | Digger Barr

(Golden Age of Gaia)

At some point in any game there is a turning point.
The pivotal moment when one side pulls away with an obvious advantage and the opponent needs to decide if they are going to yield or double the effort and try to turn the momentum back onto their side.
What game is that you might ask?
I don’t think it matters what game is being played, all games will have one or more turning points.
The focus point really is more about the players, not really the actual game.
You see a game is just a game be it in a box or a large open field.
Maybe it’s a stadium that houses many seats or a chess set on a table in a park waiting for two people to sit down and begin.
The game doesn’t proceed without players.

Once the game begins it continues until there is a victor or some one gets up and walks away, surrendering.
Once the game begins somehow somewhere ‘the end game’ will happen.
For highly competitive people winning the game is the whole point and there is no quitting. For games that hold high stakes the players are extremely motivated so it is a very unlikely chance that the players will just walk away. And then there are the powerful games with very high stakes and the things get very heated. In this situation there is no backing down and turning points may arise time and time again. The game is no longer just a game. It has now become a war.
Eventually the game will finally play out and there will be one last turning point. Unless a truce is agreed upon, there will be but one victor and subsequently, one loser.

Whatever happened to playing games just for fun. You know the ones that make you happy. The whole purpose of the game was to interact with others and give a slight challenge to ourselves be it one of skill or of luck. But in high stakes games, there doesn’t seem to be much fun. And the players are not really interested in interacting with each other. Quite the opposite. there is disdain and disgust.Whatever the motivation that got them engaged in the game, rest assured it was a powerful one.

If you hadn’t guessed by now I will make it obvious.
The game of which I speak is playing out on the world stage. This arena has so many seats that everyone has a ticket.
It doesn’t matter if you are spending your time getting refreshments or still tailgating in the parking lot.
In my opinion, always an important point, the game has been ongoing for quite some time and has finally reached a turning point.
This is only my opinion. There are an infinite number of opinions out there and many speculations and theories about what this game is or who the players are.
There are many levels at play in the field and even games within games being performed in a head spinning fashion.
It is to the point that many people and probably players themselves have lost track of what the game really is.
Play a game long enough and that will happen, reality distorts the truth and lies take on real meaning.

Ever emerge out of a football weekend and realize it snowed 3 feet while you were inside oblivious to the outside world? While inside engaging in the game played somewhere else you were not even aware of the reality right in your own backyard. You were engaged in a virtual reality.
Yes it’s easy to get caught up in the game and lose track of other things that are important. You were just a spectator. You’re just a spectator that is watching the game and that doesn’t count as actually being part of the game. Or does it? There is this teenie tiny fact that many spectator sports are designed just for that purpose. To be viewed by the spectator and that then makes you, the observer, a very important part of the game.
Without you watching much of the game would be pointless.
How are we doing so far? Are you still with me?

We are watching a game on the world stage that has reached a turning point.
The pivotal moment when one side pulls away with an obvious advantage and the opponent needs to decide if they are going to yield or double the effort in order to turn the momentum back into their side. Bystanders have become part of the game. Even though many of them would rather not be playing. Spectators are part of this game and they can actually have a large effect. Not only because the game is designed to be watched but because it’s like a virtual interactive video game. Viewers contribute to the outcome. Essentially whether we have knowingly agreed to participate or not, we are part of the game and we have choices on how we interact, react, support and even how we participate directly.
For me personally, I am not interested in running out into the middle of the field. But I can say I am not interested in walking away from my personal responsibility.
I will find my own way to participate and I know it is being divinely guided. My participation is to turn my face into the wind and look at what it will take to bring in a brighter future. My vision for this game is to reach an end game and for people to be liberated with minimal harm.
I do feel deep inside this is part of the stakes. This is a game with Epic consequences.

Currently we are watching David take on a Goliath. This is not a new game. It is a war with very real consequences. A war that has been turned into a game.
This is a game within a game. A very serious game with decades of history and disdain.
But even within this game are many other games and it is not and cannot be a singular clear cut issue.
We are not so lucky to know the rules, the motivations or all of the players, so this leads to difficulty in drawing conclusions in black and white summation.
The best we can do is watch how we react.
How do we want to interact?
Who do we want to be during stressful times?
I ask myself these questions as I pack my suitcase.
My trip to Egypt is still a go.
The dynamics for this trip have shifted and I suppose will keep shifting.
The best way for me to play the game is to do what I always do.
Work on myself. Be responsible for me.
In this way may it be helpful to others.

More to come.

May Peace be for everyone
