I am hearing, and seeing at this time so many who are, one way or another being “forced” or gently nudged to put themselves , their Truth and Knowing first before all else.

This brings up all kinds of fears and doubts, questioning and decision making.

As human we have all had a great deal of experience of being judged, warned. and punished for being “selfish”. So much so that the spiritual ideals are saturated with self-deprivation, deprecation, sacrifice and martyrdom.

Even well-meaning and loving parents encourage achievement and success while discouraging public displays of self-celebration.

And so at these times we are all dealing with guilts and fears of the past in choosing ourselves first.

These are times when these issues of self-direction verses public approval must be resolved. And what better way than to “go private” for longer periods to really feel what it is like to fill yourself with your own JOY of hearing, seeing, doing and Being.

I look at it this way.

It is natural to want to share our Joy our Light. This is why we came. But if you are doing this because you feel the pain and suffering out there and feel duty bound to help, and these feelings are attached to past beliefs, then you eventually experience fall, and have to pick yourself up again.

So I say “Fill your own cup. Fill it until you have no more room. It overflows. Then when you share there will be no loss, no sense of dropping into the “what about me ” feelings of threat” that are presently impinging on so many.

So these times are about learning to allow and fill your own cup with a daily life of more Joy, more smiles, more laughter, more being able to sit alone in feeling the sadness but with tears of appreciation. Doing the things that make you feel good, feel more alive, feel more Present. Making this a dynamic in your life.

Always choosing to align and fill YOU FIRST.

Then not one corner of Creation can be left out.
