(Golden Age of Gaia)

War is stupid.
When I was in grade school if I didn’t understand something I would call it stupid.
I didn’t have a huge vocabulary so when my frustration level with something got strong enough I would just call it out and label it as being stupid.
I admit that my frustration stemmed from a lack of understanding.
Perhaps that is why we are in school to begin with, to learn so that we gain understanding.
That understanding doesn’t always present itself just because the material is sitting in front of you. You need to have the teacher explain it in a reasonable comprehensible and acceptable manner.
Every learner is different and so the challenge is set upon the teacher to find a way to impart information onto the student so that they grasp the ideas and concepts put before them. This give and take relationship is the basic foundation of our continued existence in this universe.
During this teacher student exchange there can be failures to communicate.
The onus is upon the teacher to be supportive and encouraging to the student.
They are also tasked with being responsible and having integrity with the information they are imparting.
Is it a personal belief system or an actual life skill tool?
On the students part they need to genuinely embrace the learning phase and apply themselves to the information being provided.
There is on occasion a rift that can occur when the student simply is not in alignment with the material being presented.
An enlightened student of the universe for example may actually know more about a subject than the teacher.
Or if the items presented may not be in alignment with the students’ need to understand they will not be receptive to the teachings.
Forced learning is ineffective practice in contrast to a healthy productive educational environment.
Students are in the unfortunate position not to have any recourse with this situation.
In my case frustrations were vented and I would make remarks such as, this is stupid.
As an adult I can look back and see what was being taught. Some of it was great information. I actually learned a lot.
Some of it was and still is malarkey.
I pride myself on calling bull at such a young age.
Like the time I locked myself in the bathroom and refused to go to Catholic mass.
My grandmother promised me that if I unlocked the door I would not have to go to mass.
I said Good, because they are a bunch of liars. I was already expanding my vocabulary.
I googled searched the definition of the word stupid. It gave over a 100 synonyms.
That’s impressive. Great analogies can be drawn from the fact that a word is given so many uses.
Maybe my early application of the word wasn’t so pig-headed after all.
I find myself currently trying to grasp an understanding of violence. Unfortunately there are multiple purposes.
One reason that violence occurs is when there is a rift in understanding.
This rift can grow into frustration when one part of the exchange has no other recourse and feels a need to be heard.
The other half of the relationship could also use violence to impose their ideas and ideals upon another but this method is also called being a bully.
Overlaying this template on the business of war is a huge simplification. I get it.
But that is the purpose of this writing to break things down into a simpler perspective.
Keep it simple stupid.
Bottom line violence is a mechanism stemming out of control and oppression, be it by the oppressor or by the oppressed.
I read a blurb, (yes, a blurb), the other day that said one party needs to keep to the rules of war or that there was concern they would not follow the rules of war.
I scoffed at the idea that we even have rules of war.
I mean, I am grateful that there are rules to this game, apparently we need them.
But again, analogies can be drawn from the fact the rules even exist.
Breaking it down into simplicity, it would be like having a set of rules for the school yard bully.
It gives a sort of permission.
Yes, we recognise there are bullies and so here are the rules you need to follow. And at the same time, we know those rules may or may not be followed.
Are we all that stupid?
I think not.
However I think bullies are.
First off, they are not going to care about a set of rules.
Secondly, they do not grasp the concept of healthy productive educational and cooperative environments.
This would be a smart way to approach things
This would be a reasonable place for information exchange, learning and sharing purposes.
In the event that information is of spiritual or religious beliefs non-violence is a shared message.
Any light bulbs ?
It doesn’t mean you have to believe what the other party believes.
Do we all need to agree? No
Do we all need to get along? Yes
You don’t need to agree in order to get along.
Only a dunderhead would think that.
We are capable of so much more than resolving issues through harming others.
It is to a point on this planet where we will no longer tolerate school yard bullies.
This is not acceptable. Stop it.
I cannot say it any simpler than that. Stop it.
You are showing the thickness of your skull.
We should not have rules for how to proceed as bullies.
We need to have guidance on how to proceed in living with our differences.
In conclusion for this tirade, I will say this can be the last war we will ever need.
We can use this experience to realize the gormless efforts of violence and use it to transition into a more intelligent species.
Intelligence not as in book smart but in heart smart.
I don’t care if this violence is being used as a cover for other necessary operations.
This is not the way.
This planet is on the verge of a massive transition. A massive spiritual awakening for us all.
Truly, it could not happen soon enough.
Please lord, let this be our last rote lesson.
