I concluded long ago ,that if I do not allow the put down of myself by me, then none of it would happen.
I decided not to hurt myself anymore.
And thus whatever another says or does, it becomes a ‘piece of cake’ to handle because I can no longer experience my put down of me, and thus it cannot be reflected in what the other does or says.
The feeling that they have wronged or hurt me is just not there anymore.
I may still respond to them, or not, but either way I would be affirming my own journey while recognising theirs.
Can I accept everything about me without judgement, or without the need to be perfect, or without the feeling of anything being wrong with me?
Can I be fearless?
Yes of course I can, because I know what Love is and how it feels, and I know what Lovingness is and how much I delight in its Presence.
I choose to replace hurt with a personal hug, a Smile and a Shining warm fuzzy.
