(Golden Age of Gaia)
(via email)
When waves of energy pass through the awareness of the human nervous system, we interpret such waves as a phenomenon called emotions. Therefore, emotional patterning is a subjective interpretation of the energetic waves passing through you – waves that are perceived as experiences you are passing through in time and space.
While it seems as if you are moving through each moment, in fact, each moment moves through you. All the while, interpreting waves of energy through a spectrum of emotional range: feeling your worst when interpreting such energy through the filters of unhealed pain, while feeling your best when interpreted and experienced by your ever-expanding consciousness.
While this does not negate the necessity of personal accountability for the actions that can either hurt or heal ourselves and others, it is equally essential to become aware of which governing force acts as the interpreter of your emotions.
Equal to the accountability you hope others take for their actions, can you tune into yourself and determine the age of the you who interprets your feelings? Is your perception of life as a self-referencing narrative, a story being told by an inner child, an inner adolescent, an inner adult, or an inner spiritual master?
Perhaps the age and maturity of your inner narrator changes based on how your energy and the energy of others ebbs and flows. Even if by becoming aware of the moments when the interpretations of an inner master have been replaced with narratives from younger parts – that can occur to help you become aware of the moments when self-love is needed most.
As you love yourself more, not less, your ability to interpret waves of energy occurs through the maturity of wisdom, versus the reactivity of hurt.
This may help you see the difference between pain and suffering. While pain can occur due to the actions of others, suffering is when you add to the pain when allowing the immaturity of your inner narrator to go unsupervised.
This isn’t about correction, self-judgment, or micro-management. It’s about so boldly desiring the highest truth that you take inventory of how your way of interpreting energy may be healing or hindering the expansions underway.
I look forward to being together with you soon at the Kripalu retreat and at the New Living Expo in California. Until then, may all beings everywhere be healthy, happy, peaceful, and free. Namaste.
All for Love,
Matt
