I don't begin to imagine I'm God! That's ridiculous. In order for Him to bother to listen to me the first thing I have to do is recognize His position of Creatorship and authority over me! I must be respectful.
Humble myself preferably on our knees. We are coming before the Throne of the King of the Universe! Read the Lords Prayer. How are we to pray?
Just food for thought.
When we do, He will hear and answer our prayers.
Sometimes the thing we are praying for is not in line with what He is willing to do for us. But if we come truly loving and seeking His help in anything, He is a tender Father and does love us.....
But what really pleases Him is when we come to repent and explain we really are grateful for life and try want to build a closer relationship with Him and stuff like that. It's OK to be completely honest.
I hope I don't offend anyone. I didn't know what God wanted with me either. I felt like a useless nothing, less than....
But He loves me. And that has made all the difference!
Why, I just go straight to the Supreme Being if I have any questions, needs, for fun.
He gives real answers.
