I have an electric car
it gets me from here to thar
as long as thar isn’t too far

I can see blue Mar
Now I want back down thar

There is a place on the Yucatan peninsula called Xcaret. It is an amazing place on the water’s edge of the Caribbean Sea.
Just across from Cozumel, the water is so Teal it bathes you in beauty just to look at it.
Touted as the playground of the Gods, spend any amount of time here and you will have little doubt that this is true.
The most idyllic geology reveals a freshwater river that flows underground through limestone tunnels and then greets the sea.



You can float or snorkel the tube with very little effort as the current will carry you. Not for the squeamish at being in tight spots or underground, You start by climbing into a Cenote’ then splash into the cool warm river allowing the flow to carry you through the natural tunnel until emerging back out into an deeply jeweled pool of aquatic fun.
Full disclosure, it gets a tad dark in there and takes about twenty minutes. Do it!

With a third winter upon us in the Northern hemisphere I find myself imagining a vacation somewhere warm.
I can feel the sun caressing my skin after a thrilling swim in nature’s playground.
I drift back in time and imagine myself lounging for hours surrounded by other Gods and Goddesses.
This is why I came to this planet. This must be the reason.
How can something so exquisite not be enjoyed?
And by that I also mean by being alive.
Living should be and can be about Joy. Beauty and love and fun and laughter.
This is what we were meant to be here for.
This is why we came to Earth.
This is where we can be again.

I can hear the splashing of aquamarine water, the chirps and calls of marine life.



Flamingos, Herons and Turnstones mix their calls with monkeys and tree frogs from the backdropped jungle.
These are the rare moments in life that should become more commonplace.
It is my vision that everyone will learn to seek out this joy and take pleasure in living.
It does not need to be a wish upon a star.
It does not need to be traveling far.
It does not need to be a brilliant blue Mar.
It can be right there in your own heart.
Lift your chin and bring in a smile.
That’s it.
We are doing this.
