The Captain’s Chair | Digger Barr

(Golden Age of Gaia)

I am staring at the walls again.
It’s becoming a regular pastime.
The thing is .. I like it here.

It feels like the captain’s chair.
From here I can reach everything.
From here there is clarity.
From here I can not make any mistakes.
All things are perfect and as they should be.

I feel the pulse of my heart and know.
Just know.
No other thoughts.
It’s like watching water flow.
You don’t focus on each drop and follow it downstream.
It’s not possible.
But you can watch and be one with the flow.

My breath flows in, relaxed and effortlessly.
It sits in my belly, gently turning around.
Back up the exit and flowing out into the room.
The reminder that no thought is necessary.
Life continues with grace and ease during these moments.

Love weeps over me.
In a form of unseen waves
the ebb and flow of quiet tides
love washes in and out
lifting me high and dropping me low
buoyant when I don’t resist

A thought floats in from a guided current
drifting naturally as a leaf dropping from a tree
settling light upon the surface, it twist and turns within view
observation piques introspection
my mind chases it’s random whim

It’s in these moments I wonder
about the depth of it all
the vibration that moves from within
the current flowing from without
circulating, swirling, folding us all
into a transparent cosmic dream
