Are We on Track with Life? | Steve Beckow

We sometimes ask ourselves, am I doing the right thing? Am I on track? For that matter, is there a track? Is there a purpose to life?

Indeed there is. As a result of a spiritual experience I had on February 13, 1987 – a vision – I was made aware of the purpose of life. In a word, the purpose of life is enlightenment. (1)

In more than a word, the purpose of life for us is to realize who we really are. And who we really are is God.

When one of us realizes that Truth in a moment of enlightenment, God meets God. And for that meeting was all of life created.

But that’s just me saying it. Have others said as much?

Indeed they have. Let’s look at some examples.

After my vision I searched the works of enlightened saints and sages for confirmation of what I had seen. I was ecstatic when I came across this passage from Jesus, which described the actual journey:

“I came forth from the Father, and am come out into the world: again, I leave the world and go to the Father.” (2)

Granted that Jesus’s sayings have many levels of meaning, one is a description of the sacred arc that all of us follow, from God to God.

I had the inestimable privilege and honor of being able to ask the Divine Mother, who is Creator, Preserver, and Transformer of the omniverse, if my interpretation was correct.

Divine Mother: You are one that, because of your adherence to Truth, likes to go to the Source. That is alright. That is the way it has been designed.

Life has been designed such that we want to know the Truth. We have what sages have called a “longing for liberation,” whose subtidal, ineluctable thirst draws us back to Source. (3)

Steve: Please tell me just a bit more about that, Mother, because I’m sure other people would like to know about that as well.

You say that is the way it has been designed. What is the way it has been designed, Mother? …

I mean, the Source, the One wants to know itself. Is that correct?… And it can’t because it’s everything. So … it’s taken the aspect of Yourself and designed a universe in order for us to learn our true identities. The moment of Enlightenment is when God meets God. Is that correct?

DM: That is correct. … Yes, it is designed this way. (4)

On another occasion, she again confirmed that we’re on a journey back to Mother/Father God:

Divine Mother: As you hold greater and greater quotients of light, quotients of love, you ascend into various forms until, of course, one day, in my infinite ocean of now, you come and you rejoin with the Father and I, in the unity of One, in the unity of All. And that is also a form of ascension. (5)

Moreover she confirmed the accuracy of my vision as well on still another occasion:

Divine Mother: And you have known this in your basic understanding [the vision] of your spiritual journey, your spiritual journey back to us, back to One, back to Source, however you have defined it. (6)

She also described how the longing for liberation asserts itself and draws us away from our meandering, heading us back Home.

Divine Mother: Now, in this journey — for some of you it is millennia, for some of you it is eons; it matters not — there is a drive and an understanding, an intellectual and spiritual understanding, that your [direction] is to make the U-turn and to come back home, to return home to the heart of One where you are so welcome, until such time as you choose to emanate again. (7)

Is this a general understanding? Do the galactics, surrounding the Earth, appreciate this design?

Yes, SaLuSa does, as he demonstrates here:

“Your spiritual journey of many lives is reaching its end where duality is concerned. However, it will still continue [after] Ascension, and you will never stop learning as you make your way through the higher dimensions. That will take you further along your evolutionary path, until you reach the Source.” (8)

It’s hard for us to appreciate that purpose while in Third Dimensionality, he suggests:

“The vibrations of Earth dull your senses, and it is not until you rise up higher that you can fully grasp the purpose of life on Earth.” (9)

Here’s the Arcturian Group referring to it:

“Because everyone is an individual expression of Divine Consciousness, the journey that is necessary for this to become an actual attained state of consciousness never ceases. The spiritual evolutionary journey takes place over many lifetimes and includes whatever experiences are necessary to bring each individual to where they are open, prepared, and ready to embrace the higher dimensional realities of who and what they are.” (10)

“Life is about spiritual evolution, about waking up to oneness with Source and all that IT IS. Everything else simply represents the experiences and distractions, some good and some bad, necessary to eventually bring each individual to a readiness for truth. (11)

And finally here is Matthew Ward (St. Matthew):

“Evolvement in conscious and spiritual awareness … continues until the immortal soul returns to its Beginnings within the pure love essence of Creator Source.” (12)

One could find many more examples of higher-dimensional beings being aware of and communicating the purpose of life: To know who we really are. (13) But the point is clear.

Mother/Father God, who is everything and all, wanted to know herself and so she created an illusory world in which “fragments” of the Divine would incarnate and live various experiences, under the guiding hand of the universal law, in order to learn their true identity. When that identity was known, God would meet God in the moment of our enlightenment.

And for that purpose was all that we see, and all that we don’t see, created.
