I have a new appreciation of Edvard Munch’s The Scream. I no longer think of the subject as screaming, but as shocked and horrified.

That’s how I feel when I think of what I’ve looked at and listened to related to the mass torture and murder of children. Do I know why people do these things? I do not.

As a journalist, and previously as a refugee adjudicator, (1) it’s been part of my job to know the details of genocide in Rwanda, the horrors perpetrated by the drug cartels, the fate of women in patriarchal countries, etc. I’ve called this role – when it works – “an honest witness to the truth.” (2)

Just as I promised the Mother that I’d talk about heart openings to prepare us for a global one, so here I promised myself that I’d help prepare people for the revelations that are coming about the trafficking and murder of children.

A friend allowed me to experience the rage and fury I feel having watched and listened to documentaries on unspeakable things being done to children. I have to leave it to the Alliance to go over this subject. They know how to present it.

I know my experience this past day is secondary traumatization because I went through it at least twice at the Immigration and Refugee Board. It took work back then. I can express it and experience it through to completion now – thanks to my friend – a process I did not follow back then.

I’d always kept my traumatization more or less bottled up. Here it was let loose.

Look, here I am weeping again, just thinking about what I viewed back at Xenia, that took a spiritual experience to revive me from. (3)

If we knew all the horrible things that are happening on and under our world – and even off-planet, I’m led to believe – it would totally undo us. Our faith in humanity would be shaken. We’d no longer want to be here.

You can see how much my viewing and listening has affected me. I return to the subject of what we can expect to see in the coming revelations again and again. Because I know what to expect. And I know we need to prepare ourselves.

What I don’t know is how we’re going to handle it. Gabor Maté has a growing army of trauma experts. Kathleen Willis is perfecting the forgiveness part. That’ll be needed.

We’ll have the control of the airwaves back courtesy of Starlink by then and we’ll be able to do some productive, not manipulative, programming.

The only saving grace is that the shock and horror will be society-wide. We’ll all be in the same boat then. This is the complete sobering of the planet. What is at question is only the form of the detox.

(3) I wrote a certain amount on the spiritual experience, but nothing about watching Frazzeldrip and accompanying photographs that I won’t describe that took me into such a deep emotional nosedive that it took a fourth-chakra event to jackhammer me out of it.
