My Heart
Deep within my heart is my truth
Covered over by all the things my mind tells me I have to be or do.
At times internal dialogue leaves me confused.
Bewildered, even bemused.
But then I pause, rest in stillness ask myself; Who are you? Just for fun, From where have you come?
Parents who met between the sheets. Or a child of the Source of everything, and also am I so given.
No either or, that's duality. But real inclusion of the other side. True Unity. Harmony.
Instead of me taking credit for everything and being ruled by my own mind. There is always that which is divine.
Alternatively, I have another origin story in my heart and soul; no man wrote…so no man can know.
Here I am always with truth. Relative and Absolute. As it is given me constantly, here I know myself to be the giver of love.
My mind sees circumstances and discretion, justification for piece mealing love.
And when it’s done by me. I feel less love myself. No need to cry out for help. But only realign. Redefine…Who is the Self?
