I know that, in the future, because of the nature of the financial work I’ll be doing after the Reval, I’ll need to limit connections and associations at an organizational and a personal level.

At an organizational level, I’m required to remain independent. I can’t have any ties that affect my decision-making.

At a personal level, it especially applies to connections with old friends. Anyone who could influence me. No past relationships, no relatives, no close friends can be in companies that report to me, Michael has said.

Michael discussed the matter over and over again in different contexts:

“You are not to be giving your decision-making capacity away, ever.” (1)

“Editorial freedom can never be called into question. …

“You have an expression: The buck stops here. Well, you are there.” (2)

“Dear heart, do not allow yourself to become the spokesbeing of any view or group – your independence is critical at this juncture – as it was during the times of Galatia – do not waver. …

“Always I will let you know when it is time to speak and in what capacity. We are together, dear brother – do not for a moment forget this.” (3)

“You are a standalone. We are a standalone and it is important that this truly be adhered to.” (4)

Steve: The Michaelangelo Fund probably should not [be linked with any other fund or foundation].

AAM: That is correct because it truly is a standalone. (5)

So I’m not to give my decision-making power to anyone else but the Mother and her agents. My freedom of speech should never be impaired by any outer allegiance.

The next part is relevant just to me – “You are a standalone” – but not relevant to most others. Most others will collaborate and cooperate.

I’ll rejoin the ivory tower I inhabited for eight years as a refugee adjudicator. No contact with the outside world, except through my writing (because he wants that to continue). (6)

Much beyond an NDA.

That is a rigorous discipline and I’m bracing myself for it. My world will shrink even more than it is at this moment. One has to have processed loneliness to be able to succeed in those conditions. I processed it once in 2006 and it took six months to lift. Now, after the heart opening, I’m better equipped.

Christmas is approaching and I’ll be taking the Xmas break off, back on New Year’s. I guess I’m getting reflective already.

It’ll be the best of times and the worst of times for sure. Only the thought that assistance is right there lends me the strength to look forward to it.
