God said:

Beloveds, every thought about another is a thought about you. Every comment you make about another is a comment about yourself. Take care as to what you are saying, for thoughts are powerful, and words are too.

Let what you say be significant. There is no insignificance when it comes to speech.

You have difficulty with dissuading certain thoughts, but how hard can it be for you to select the words you utter? It is not for you to compound negativity in the world. Do not punctuate negative thoughts by speaking them aloud.

All negativity is untrue. All negative speech is untrue. An element is missing in any denouncement of anyone for anything. There is a truth overlooked, spun past, dismissed. The truth may be hidden, but you know better than to think it is absent.

In the face of truth, when you say something unkind about another, you are defaming them.

When you look into a mirror and put make-up on, it is your face you see, and it is your face that you embellish.

When you speak about another, it is yourself you are talking about. Impossible as it may seem, they are a mirror of you. A chord vibrates. If that were not so, you would not find it scintillating to point out another’s lack of virtue, intelligence, appearance or anything at all that you do not find attractive.

In any case, words like thoughts, whether overheard directly or indirectly, are overheard. And you are the one who hears them most of all.

If you were an artist, what kind of pictures would you paint?

If you were a musician, what notes would you play?

You have a choice to create beauty or to create less than beauty.

What do your words give to the universe?

Let your words now change their tune.

You are a representative for God. You are not part-time. You are not just sometimes. You are not just hit or miss. You work for Me around the clock. You are permanently employed by Me.

Yes, you mean to do the best you can, but sometimes you forget. Sometimes you are careless. You forget that you are the standard for everyone else and that they emulate you. When you speak less than a blessing, everyone else thinks they might as well too.

Start over today. Not one complaint. Not one excuse. Not one comment about another that you would not proudly acclaim. Speak well. Speak well of yourself. Let the sounds that come to your ears be beautiful. You speak before millions. The universe is your audience. Everything you say is heard. It resounds. Its reverberations linger long. Substitute new speech for old.

You form words with your lips and teeth and tongue, and the words you form also form you. The muscles of your face receive the tone of the words you utter.

Returning to the image of you in the mirror, you are not careless about what make-up you put on and where you put it or how much. You consider the effect.

Now I boldly ask you to consider the effect of your speech.

Simply now start fresh, and be a speaker of truth. Speak well of yourself. From now on, no lapses of this.

You are a messenger of God. In that case, it is My messages you drop off. No longer is anything less than My truth issued from your lips.

You are an uplifter of mankind. You are no less. You work for Me. What could that possibly mean but that you reflect My Will. Reflect it now. Bless yourself with My reflection in you.
