Do I Need to Focus on the Shadow Side to Bring Out My Light?

Participant: I have a question. So many people in different groups and trainings talk about shadow work. They say you’ve got to go to the darkness to bring out your light. But I have a strong feeling that if I raise my consciousness to higher levels, and embrace the feelings of joy, care, love and compassion and just get into that flow – won’t this override the darkness and create positive change and transformation?

Alcazar: People like to focus on the dark side. People like to judge themselves and others. You are right. You do not have to go into the dark side, so to speak. As you start to raise your vibration, then you start to become aware of that which we call the limitations or the belief systems that are not your truth. It is not that you are searching for them. They arise. And the beauty of working in this way is that they arise when you have the ability to understand and dissolve them. When you go jumping into the dark side, you depress your energy. Your frequency goes down. Your clarity disappears or becomes less. So there you are focusing on everything that is wrong, judging yourself. But you have lost the clarity. It becomes a struggle. It becomes an endless struggle. No, do not focus on the dark side if you wish to evolve rapidly. Raise your vibration. The Stargate is available to those who are intelligent enough to understand it. We are here to assist you to raise your vibration. And you will notice the limitations that arise. Then you can say, "Oh, OK, this is coming into my awareness. What do I need to understand? What do I need to let go? How do I free myself from this old conditioning?" And with the asking of how, very often your intuition will guide you. Or you will simply laugh and say, "I don't need that anymore." And it is gone. It is simply an old pattern playing itself out in unconsciousness, and when you become more conscious, you simply shrug and say, "I do not need that anymore." So your feeling is right, Beloved.
