While there is certainly no shame in indulging desires, there comes a point along the spiritual journey where you become smarter than the unconscious desires running you.

The ones you are manipulated to seek out as artificial forms of fulfillment.

The ones promising a false degree of safety that only program you to feel even more unsafe, unsettled, unworthy, and dissatisfied — just to have more reason to seek out and feed the same unconscious repetitive patterns, day after day.

Such patterns are not evil, nor are they an enemy or a source of true comfort. They actually don’t give a shit whose body they inhabit. As long as it is someone weak enough to act out their repetitive demands.

While there is certainly no shame in indulging desires, there comes a point along the spiritual journey where you become smarter than the unconscious desires running you.

Daring to love yourself more, not less, no matter how desperate you feel, no matter how lonely you are, no matter how over everything you seem to be, and no matter how frustrated of a person you’ve somehow become.

One step at a time, may we come together in community to support each other in moving forward, regardless of how big or tiny of a step anyone can make.

No matter how many fears or desires run your reality, love is always here for you, no matter how many times you’ve lost faith in life or wanted to give up on yourself.

Love is for everyone.

Love is here for all.
