God said:

Let’s have a romp in life today. Let’s not discover new things to be discontent with. Let’s discover joy after joy instead. All too often you displease yourself. You pounce on evidence of lack. You have a tiny twang in your heart that says: “I could have done better. I messed up this and that.” And so the thorns of your thoughts prick your heart Today pounce on joy. Revel in it.

Your magnifying glass today is set to find joy.

Just for today, see flowers and not the bugs that may accompany them.

Consider yourself an editor who highlights the phrases he likes. For today he skips over any less than perfect phrases. His magic highlighter plucks what is worth plucking. Today your purpose is to emphasize that which pleases you.

It is an old habit to find yourself lacking. No longer keep your old habits of thought. Do not feed them. It is your own heart that you feed them with. Let old habits of thought starve and look elsewhere. The delicacy of your heart is something to keep. Let only joy enter your heart and stay there. You do not need the pangs of unrest. You never did need them. Your whole thrust of life has been to improve yourself. You can wear yourself out with your drive for perfection in the world. Dispense with this persecution of yourself. You have been grating your heart. From now on, smooth your heart. Smooth your way in the world.

Consider that you are your own manager. You are paid a high salary, and you earn it by paving the way of your life. Set yourself up ahead of time for all kinds of success. Wherever you go, bring your own accolades with you. It is enough that you are here. You have appeared. You have presented yourself to the world. Cheer yourself along the way. Carry yourself on your own shoulders. You have won the day! You won it before it started. Listen to Me well.

Be your own hero. Be your own champion. You slow yourself down when you hang your head. Droopy-headed you drag your feet. Stand on your toes. Reach up. Reach high. See what you desire before it occurs. Leave off seeing the dangers that could befall. Dangers will take care of themselves. They need no boosting from you. They need you to leave them alone. You need to leave thoughts of pitfalls alone.

For what earthly reason would you oppose yourself? Why would you inflict wounds on a valiant heart? You appeared in the world today. It may have taken great courage for you to do that. Applaud yourself, beloved. Applaud each other too.

No more black marks. No more red pencils. Only highlights of love now. Underscore the droplets of beauty in your life today. Draw a circle around them. Put an exclamation point. Flag what is worth noticing. Save yourself from finding fault.

Faultfinding is a great scourge of life. Faultfinding is a mouth turned down. Push up the corners of your mouth now. Way up. Let the corners turn to Heaven. Gravity on Earth pulls your mouth down. Be less grave in life, and your mouth will turn up. And there will be an upturn in your life.

Lift up your eyes. Lift up your chin. Lift up your soul.

You are giving birth today to new thoughts. You will invite them. You will not push them back. You will welcome them. And so now you make room for them. And so now you turn on the lights of your life.
