There exists a spectrum of spiritual evolution. At one end is what can purely be called “spirituality.” At the other end is what can purely be called “growth.”

What’s the difference between the two, according to the way we 21st-Century terrestrials are practising them?

Well, of course, everyone will have their own opinion, which is how it’s supposed to be. In my opinion, the difference is that growth works through the body and realizes the body’s potential to be a partner in our enlightenment while spirituality focuses more on what’s beyond the Third-Dimensional body and attaining that.

Spirituality doesn’t ignore the body but the interest of spiritual people seems to lie more on what’s beyond it, beyond our everyday life, our senses, our memories.

Growth work doesn’t ignore God and the Self. It sees such things as releasing tension in the body and raising awareness as pathways to Self and God. It goes through the body to the Self. It releases the Self from body/mind confines such as muscular holding patterns and the belief systems that cause them.

Some spiritual people view growth people as being crude and elementary. Some growth people view spiritual people as having their heads in the clouds.

I personally think that it’s purely a matter of preference.

Maybe you like the way you feel when you have a full breath release from rebirthing or a full body release through bioenergetics. And growth work is what you want to stay with for now.

Maybe you did growth work last lifetime and want to try spirituality. You had a peak experience which gave you a taste of bliss, heard that it’s higher dimensional, and now want to know – what is all this?

This means something, you find yourself saying, over and over again. And it does. It means the world.
