While the phrase belongs to a late-Victorian commentator, “dreamlight to kill daylight” about describes the way the media functioned in our society back in the days when it was hidden, not so heavy-handed and obvious as today. (1)

At some future time, we’re going to be hearing that some people deemed central to that dreamlight will be revealed as pedophiles/serious human rights abusers.

We’re going to have dreamlight turned off at some point and daylight presented on all channels over several days (over the Emergency Broadcasting System).

I had one of my precious beliefs exploded the other day (I can’t remember which and I don’t really care) and it was painful.

Are we prepared for the closing down of dreamlight? When it seems like we have no one else to turn to and our world is falling apart, have we made friends with the one who’ll need to pick up the pieces and take care of us – i.e., ourselves?

Are we able to draw love up from our heart and circulate it around ourselves to heal and uplift us?

Are we as complete as we can be? Rather than being issue-driven, making us Velcro for misery, are we dropping our ancient resentments?

Are we passing by opportunities to forgive and be forgiven – to lighten our load, so to speak? Can we now begin to take advantage of them to leave us as clear and light, rather than issue-driven and dense, as possible?

Lastly, are we open and available to asking the Divine Mother for help getting through what’s ahead? Ask and ye shall receive. Not a prayer goes unanswered, I’ve been told. None of this is happening, as I understand it, to make us suffer.
