What's the Difference Between Protection and Preparation?

Julieanne: Preparation is just being sensible. If you know you're going to go into a low energy field, then you know there's a potential for that energy to bring you down. So you just intentionally uplift your energy. Invite the Stargate to support you. This is what we're doing here slowly, slowly, slowly, step by step raising our vibration, as Alcazar has said. These are tools and techniques you can use until you don't need them anymore. So similarly, somebody is saying she's at a psychic school in Boulder where they're taught to put up a protective rose of Christ around their aura when they do a psychic reading or energy healing. And she asks, is this still a good idea?

While you are learning a modality, there is great benefit in honoring the teachings, because putting the Christ energy in your aura is an experiential technique. So you can shift your perception of why you're doing it. That way it's less about so-called "protection," which brings in this element that you need to protect yourself against something, and see it as powering up your field. See it as bringing in that higher vibrational energy. But, like with any of these things, experiment with it. So you're in the school. You're learning all these new things, and there is an experiential element. Allow that to inform you and inform your practice as you move forward. Then you'll know the answer for yourself of whether you want to continue to do that or not.
