God said:
When something exists, there is always plenty of it. You see that very well when it comes to troubles! See it as well when it comes to blessings.
And if you have what are called troubles in the world, know that having troubles does not mean that you are not blessed.
We can start from the basis that you don’t begin to know how blessed you are. Focus on blessings, and your blessings will multiply before your very eyes. Blessings will come out of the woodwork. Trouble has, why not blessings?
Troubles will remain or arrive just the same. No one on Earth escapes trouble. Even so, how you size up life is most often indicator of what will come. Veer away from a trouble mentality. This does not mean to say that you create troubles and so you are the cause. It is to say that your estimation of your life counts. For example, you might be stricken to find you have only $15.00 in the bank. Someone else might be delighted to have any balance in the bank at all. Life is as you see it.
Delight is a good indicator for the future. The more delight you take, the more delight you will have. The more trouble you perceive will likely draw more trouble to you. What I am saying is that you set the mood. If you want romance, it makes sense to play romantic music. If you want storm, play thunderstorm music. Set the mood for what you want, and you encourage it to come. To set up a positive pattern in your life is a good idea. A positive pattern does not guarantee the results you would like, yet it does guarantee that in the interim, you will be reaping more pleasure in life. A scowl is more likely to bring a scowl. A smile is more likely to bring a smile.
This is not a world science, you understand. In terms of the world, what you give is not necessarily what you get back. The innocent have troubles too. And those who may not appear worthy of reward, also receive treasures. You can’t know everything that’s going on by the surface of life. In terms of the relative world, life does not always add up. There is merit to: As you sow, so shall ye reap. At the same time, not every crop planted comes up.
If you do good, and it seems that good is not returned to you, be glad that you gave goodness. Someone received your goodness. It will catch up to you. It will catch up to someone somewhere. You did some good in the world. You gave a blessing. Be glad for the good you do.
Consider the good you do like a foundling you leave at the church door. Someone will pick up the foundling and be glad. Because you leave a foundling does not mean that you get one back, nor is it to your benefit to think you must. When you give, you drop off your gift. You don’t keep demanding it back.
The name of the lesson is letting go. Certainly let go of regrets. Let go of errors you have made knowingly or unknowingly. Let go of all the good you have done as well. Do not look for compensation.
In time to come, you will look back, and you will see the trail of goodness that followed you. See now the trail that is blazing before you. Hop to it.
