Love and Oneness are the Same | Steve Beckow

Reading the Arcturian Group’s excellent message of Jan. 31, 2021, (1) I had an insight into how I/we come to comprehend and be oneness. They said:

“A realization of oneness begins at the person’s level of awareness. In the beginning it may express as the desire to help someone less fortunate within one’s immediate circle–family, friends, or church group.

“Over time the person begins to be aware of and take an interest in the needs of individuals and groups outside of his immediate circle (strangers and animals) and eventually expands to include ‘enemies.’

“​Finally, perhaps over lifetimes, as a person’s state of consciousness evolves, he/she begins to realize that One omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient Divine Consciousnesses is and always has been expressing ITself as every living thing simply because IT is all that exists. This awareness of ONE is what constitutes unconditional love.” (2)

That makes perfect sense to me. I’ve often said that these matters don’t come with a handbook. Hold the press. This message and others like it are a handbook.

Here’s as far as I got: “and eventually expands to include ‘enemies.'” Definitely not able at this moment to break through to loving my enemies. No use pretending. You can read it in my face.

BUT I can break through to simply loving – simply allowing love to arise from my heart on the inbreath and releasing it to the whole world, universally, without partiality, on the outbreath. I can get that far with it.

As I do this in the moment, I come to the realization that “love” and “oneness” are the same. When I’m in a state of transformative/transfigurative love, I am one with everything.

For as long as I’m in that state, I am. The oneness is felt at an emotional and energetic level. Words don’t enter the picture.

And then it disappears when I leave that state.

I’ve been a blind man with the elephant. I’ve held onto the ear – love – and said the elephant was love. Another blind man held onto the tail – oneness – and said the elephant was oneness.

The elephant is all things – love, oneness, compassion, etc. And love is by its very nature universal anyways.

I realize that I can let love be my teacher. Love, like the sun, shines on the “good” and the “bad.” It shines on loss and gain, victory and defeat. It makes no distinction about anyone or anything.

Except if, in our free will, we reject it. Then it respects our choice.

But love in itself is by its very nature universal. Alright. let love be my teacher.
