Your Heart Is Your Bond | Heavenletters

God said:

Every person on Earth has his own agenda. He has his own way of viewing the world. In effect, each person lives in his own world, and yet, still, each person is everyone. You are everyone and everyone is you. Everyone shares the same spot.

If you were to time travel, or someone were to time travel to you, you would still be two human beings, and you would recognize each other. Even if you did not speak the same language, you would communicate, one heart to another. Sometimes you communicate better without words.

You would know that the old-fashioned clothing and new clothing were incidental. Through whatever time travel, there would be the human being, and there would be the human heart. That is all that is needed for communication.

Through eons, the human heart has remained true. In man or woman, the human heart is as it always was. There is the individuality of each being, and yet there is also the universality of Oneness.

In the world there are people that you more easily get along with than others, yet there is nothing in any human heart that cannot link with any other human heart. The heart is your bond.

Two people can think quite differently, and each can think he is right and the other mistaken, and yet there are not two individuals who cannot also create harmony together. Remember to say yes.

If someone requests something of you, say yes. Say yes more quickly than you say no.

Be finished with resistance to giving true service to another. This does not at all mean that you save yourself for last. Right where you are and right in the composition of your own life, when it is possible, give a service to another. Have the frame of mind to give it, and give when you can.

Give people what they want and not necessarily what you think is better. You may prefer apples, and someone asks you for an orange. Give them an orange. Give someone what they want. Do not save your heart for a rainy day.

Do you have to give away your orange? No, of course not. You do not, by any means, have to give away any of your apples or oranges, and yet you have the possibility to give to the form of yourself who stands before you with his hand out.

What your purpose in life amounts to, beloveds, is giving someone what they ask. You may think apples are better than oranges, and yet, if someone eyes your orange and you can tell he wants it, give him the orange. Give the apples to those who want apples. When there is a need to fill, it does not have to be your need to fill. You may have the need to give apples, yet the one before you wants an orange. Do you deny him? Why would you?

As much as it is within your capacity, give people what they ask for. Do not improve their tastes. Serve them.

Serving, which is a form of love, is the greatest service you can give in the world. Think of it: to give people what they want and not what you think is better for them. And when you can, give them what they want right then and there and not make them ask you again later. Give all you can give so that your heart will burst open like a beautiful flower whose purpose it is to burst open and share itself with others and give joy.
