Fear of Being Successful
Question: I love writing and get into a great flow when I do, but I keep procrastinating. Is this an inner child situation or something with intuition?
Alcazar: So Beloved One, for you, there are a number of influences. This procrastination for you has to do with a fear of being successful, which on the surface might seem a little strange because already, as you know, there is much success in your life. Take a look inside and investigate with the inner child. You know this process. Ask the inner child, “Why am I holding myself back? What occurred in my life that made me feel like if I was too successful, that if I was too good at what I was doing, I maybe, I would get punished or maybe I would lose a friend?” These are the various things, the various ways that the mind and the feelings of the young child start to limit themselves. We would suggest you have a limitation like this from earlier years.
