God said:

Yes, life does unfold, and you are also unfolding. Unfolding is opening up. Consider life and consider yourself beautiful blooms that open. You are in the process of opening. Releasing the past is the same as opening. Opening is the same as revealing. Remove the cover-up of the past, and you are revealed.

Reveal yourself to yourself.

You need no fancy packaging.

Anything less than the truth is less than you.

You are My supreme gift to Myself.

I am happy with you. Will you be happy with Me?

Will you learn happiness today?

You have learned less than happiness.

Why not learn what you would really like to learn?

You are learning to fit into My shoes. That is what coming closer to Me means. You learn My way of looking at the world. You learn My way of thinking. And you learn My heart which is, after all, the same as yours.

You are learning truth. You are learning to let go of untruth. This is what changing your thinking means. It means opening up to Mine. It means letting go of all thinking that keeps you away.

You have deferred happiness. You have chosen thinking over it. Which do you value more? You cannot have both truth and old thinking. You who were conceived from the height of My heart have misconceived.

Any limits you put on yourself are limits you have put on yourself. I didn’t put them on you.

Sometimes you ask how I, God, could have done thus and so in your particular life. What do you think I have done? I do not go through the world swinging a sharp sword right and left. I am not a God of vengeance. I do not relate to the concept of vengeance.

I did not give you free will in order to punish you for it.

Please stop thinking that I punish. I serve. I do not conceive of plots to undo you. Nor do I control your every move.

Do not ask yourself what you have done to deserve whatever it is that has befallen you. When you think of finding a source for a difficulty, you are looking at the wrong end of the telescope. Affix not present events in your life to previous ones. Life is wasted in thinking so much about it and trying to ascertain cause. You can never find the answer anyway. Perhaps what happens now is what happens now, and was not caused by a previous action of yours or Mine. But at the same time, everything is connected, but that is a winding road you cannot follow.

If you walk down the street, and a house is on fire, did you cause it by coming across it? Must you spend life trying to trace how it started?

That there are no accidents doesn’t mean you cause everything. It means you are present. In life, you start in the middle. You are given a part of a story. The rest is yours to finish. Whether you lit the match or not, or how you lit it or why or why not — what’s important is what you do now. What do you do to put out the fire?

You are not the same Human you were years ago, or in another lifetime, or two hours ago. You are ever blossoming. You are ever new in Human life. Let yourself be new. Let go of the past in all its forms. Free your heart right now.
