Take Flight | Heavenletters

God said:

Spreading your wings is spreading your aura. It is extending your energy. Extending energy is meant to be effortless. What is effortlessness but lightness? Heavy-handed isn’t effortless. Holding yourself back isn’t effortless. Even sitting still is not effortless for you. Your foot taps.

Breaking boundaries may seem difficult but only because you believe in borders. You may actually be fond of limits. It’s possible that you believe fences keep you safe. Inside the fence or outside it, safety is the same except in your premonitions. Your premonitions are nothing but the meanderings of your mind. Your mind wanders outside the fence and tells you to stay back where you are.

You cannot know what will happen. It’s possible that all your precautions will bring that which you mean to avoid. Give up your attachment to knowing answers ahead of time. Look to your heart and plunge forward. Dive in. Enough of treading water.

You are meant for expansion. You aren’t meant to hold yourself in place nor to backstroke. You are not meant for contraction. Staying where you are and holding back and turning back consume a great deal of energy. Use your energy to go forward. Your desires are waiting for you. Meet them. Put down your machete. Nothing stands in your way. What you see as barriers are made-up images in your mind. Realism has come to mean seeing obstacles. Give up seeing obstacles. They are no more than scarecrows.

I am cautioning you against caution.

Wings are spread for a reason. Spread your wings so that you may fly. You have dragged your feet long enough. It is all right for your feet to leave the ground. They will touch down again. If you can spread your wings, you can also close them. But they are not meant to stay closed.

There is a time for everything. Add this to your list: Time to fly.

Perhaps you have been in your nest long enough. Perhaps you have outgrown it. Perhaps your nest is now a barred cell. Really, anything can come in through the bars, but you can’t get out. Remove the bars. Don’t bump into them. There is a whole world beyond the square footage you give to yourself.

Take flight. Make a V-formation. Swim through the clouds of your thoughts. Swimming and flying are the same. Fly through water. Swim through the sky. It is all a Heavenly motion. For a while you set aside the gravity of Earth. For a while you are bolstered. You move your arms and you find you are supported. But you have to use your arms.

It does not take great trust nor great daring to begin to fly in life. You just have to begin. First you fly. Then you soar. It takes just a little trust. If you require a certain outcome, then that is not trust. You cannot trust in a proposed or commanded result. Trust is free-flying. Having to know what you alight on is not trust. Opening a parachute takes more trust than what I ask of you.

I am asking you to open your heart. I am asking you to open your heart to life. Opening to life is opening to yourself. I am asking you to venture out of a fenced area. I am asking you to come closer to Me. I am asking you to believe in possibility more than you believe in impossibility. Is that asking a lot? Is it asking too much that you expand? Is it asking too much that you be happy? Is it asking too much that you explore your life on Earth? Why not explore your life. The destination of your life is set. But how you live it is your choice. You have choice. Choose to fly now.
