On the surface, things didn't get better.
Even when you held the purse stings tight
Or when you lied awake alone at night.
You didn't do anything wrong
You sang a song that had a hook exclusively for you.
You lived your truth.
And now you...should you decide to -
Can sing another song.
And it it doesnt matter if you stop singing it
For a while
You can pick up where you left off
And at no cost
When you are ready.
The more you return to singing this sacred song of the heart.
You become a little more steady
And can be there (singing) for longer times
With little interruption
You stop thinking about destruction
But induction
To your own Hall of Fame
With a new hope...maybe even a new name.
Nothing is the same
And you find out all the while you were learning how to be the best you, you can be and really....what is wrong with that?
