Co-creating - follow your heart
Q: P’taah I’d like to ask a question. How do you know, in your co-creating with another person, that you are fulfilling what you agreed in advance that you would do, when it doesn’t seem like anything good is happening? I have a son who is suicidal a good bit of the time, and I seem to be unable to get to him, I’ve quit trying, I have backed off, so I don’t know how things are going and I also don’t know if I should be doing something other than giving thanks, which I really do try to do a great deal of the time when I think about him, and his situation.
P’taah: Beloved you know also to understand that each of you is a sovereign being and each of you have your own journey, and it is not for you to judge anybody else’s journey. The only requirement is that you will do the best that you can, but in the understanding that there are no shoulds involved in this.
Q: OK
P’taah: So it is simply to follow your heart, eh?
Q: OK. I can do that, but you know the concern arises from time to time if I'm doing enough, and I, at the same time, I’m perfectly willing to accept that his path is his own, but it is somewhat difficult to explain to him that he has chosen this and it’s up to him to play it out.
P’taah: Well, you know Beloved, there are many of you, regardless of age, who are very locked in to your belief about reality, and, for many of you, the idea that you are dealt cruel blows by the almighty, or by the universe, or by somebody, is all very well, however, as you know, when you are in victimhood then indeed you are powerless.
Q: Right
P’taah: However, you may present the idea of personal power, you may present the idea that you create your reality absolutely, or co-create your reality, however it is not your business to make somebody, or to coerce somebody into changing their belief structure.
The most wonderful way that you can teach anybody is by showing by example, and so if somebody is caught up in their pity-parties and saying “Woe is me, look what has become of me”, etcetera, then you can perhaps find something positive, or something to perhaps relieve the situation, but being aware that you are all entitled to your own beliefs, mm?
Q: Absolutely, yes.
P’taah: You are all entitled to your own journey, you are all sovereign beings. So once you have presented your ideas, and continue to show by example what you believe, when people see you being very happy, you know, it is very attractive.
Q: Good, good, that’s helpful. My problem is I want to see some change, and of course that’s not necessarily possible (laughs) so
P’taah: Not only is it not necessarily possible, it is really not your business! Of course it is always that you desire the best for your friends, for those that you love.
Q: Yes.
P’taah: Of course this is so. But on the other hand it is also not your responsibility to force change and transformation.
Q: Right, right
P’taah: Because each soul must reach out for itself, you know.
Q: Yes. I needed to hear that again from you I think. Thank you.
P’taah: Indeed Beloved.
