The Dance of Shiva is the ONENESS of brahman (Pure Awareness or Stillness) and Maya (illusion or that which is subject to change). The dance itself implies movement and Shiva implies Stillness. Therefore, the dance is Maya (illusion or that which is subject to change) and Shiva is stillness (Pure Awareness or Unconditional Love). From Shiva stems Maya. In other words, from that which is eternal, permanent, vibration-less, space-less, timeless, and nothingness stems that which is brief, transitory, vibrating, space, time, and everything else. So the “Dance of Shiva” is one abiding as stillness, Pure Awareness, or Unconditional Love while doing one’s work, whatever that may entail. Thus, the “Dance of Shiva” is synonymous to Sahaja Samadhi.

All of creation is the “Dance of Shiva”; everything is constantly moving and changing but that which does not move nor change and stays ever the same is the fundamental SOURCE OF EXISTENCE upon which without, there can be no movement or change. That SOURCE OF EXISTENCE is the movie-screen (Shiva) from which the movie of life (Dance) plays endlessly. Without the movie-screen or background, there is no movie. However, without the movie, the background still remains. You are the background upon which life plays on endlessly. No matter how life decides to play itself out, you remain unaffected and ever the same. To permanently act accordingly, guided by intuition, signifies that you you have learned the “Dance of Shiva” or attained Sahaja Samadhi.
