You have Always been and will Eternally be the Endless Knot | H. Breton

When you have become one with everything, what is the need for thoughts. Thoughts indicate separation between subject and object. When the subject and object have become one, that is mental silence. Mental silence alone indicates oneness. However, sages out of compassion, bring back the holy water of the knowledge of brahman (pure awareness) back to maya (illusion) to throw on others who are still fast asleep. But then again, even the sages know that there is no one to liberate. The one who liberates and the liberated would have to be separate for liberation to take place, but that is not the case, for pure awareness encompasses all. Thus, this is just a game whose creator, pure awareness, has created infinite forms and expressions out of itself within itself. It is to be enjoyed and can only be enjoyed while one knows that he is all of creation even though there is no distinction between the enjoyed and the enjoyer. You, as Pure Awareness, take the role of being a mother, friend, wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend, father, uncle, son, brother, or sister to your own self and yet you are none of these roles. You are role-less. This game of life is truly God interacting with God but, nothing is actually happening. Only in separation things happen. In divine union, nothing happens. All of these interactions are occurring within yourself as yourself. Such is the game of life. A game has a beginning and an end while you are beginning-less and endless like the Tibetan symbol of the Endless Knot. Thus, this game of life need not be taken seriously because isn’t the point of a game to have fun in the first place.

Paradoxically, the best yet limited way to describe that Pure Awareness/Unconditional Love is to be mentally silent for what is there to think about when creation is you, expressing yourself in infinite ways, forms, and shapes. However, your true way, form, and shape is way-less, formless and shapeless. It cannot be defined. It transcends the three states of waking, dream, and dreamless sleep. All three states are illusory since they are constantly alternating between each other. However, there is that one who remains unchanging despite continuously alternating between the three states. That one is you as Unconditional Love/Pure Awareness. Any attempt to define it is a limitation on what is limitless. Yet, the sages do their best to describe it to their followers/devotees out of compassion so that they too can realize who they always been and will eternally be. After all, you transcend all definitions, being yourself undefinable.
