What You Are Made Of | Heavenletters

God said:

What is this about privacy and keeping secrets? Privacy is no more than holding back, beloveds. It is withholding. Secrets are not a desirable level to live on. Reticence is a smoke screen. Keeping secrets is a power-play, beloveds. Hiding yourself under a bushel is making others look for you. Why not step out in front, and say, as I do say, “Here I AM.”

Why dart behind trees and whisk yourself hither and yon and the whole world with you? Why do you feel that you have to know something, allude to it, yet not reveal it?

What keeps you from sharing your heart and soul? Why engage in playing tag and making yourself It. Why would you make anyone run around trying to find you when you could be forthright instead? Why not go in a straight line rather than swerving around in S-curves.

You know, beloveds, being less than forthright is like giving people wrong directions. It is like making people go on a scavenger-hunt for you. Come out from behind that tree, beloveds. The game you play is with yourself.

You don’t own anything. You don’t own the content of that envelope which you flash around yet will not reveal.

If you want to be a star, then be a bright star.

Be not a covert agent in life. Do not keep tricks up your sleeve. Come out of hiding.

Prayers do not make you holy. They certainly don’t make you holier than thou. Words do not a blessing make.

If ever you feel holier than another, say, “Whoa,” to yourself. Draw yourself up sharp. Do not adorn yourself. Such adornment does not become you, beloveds.

Do not hold yourself above anyone else or everyone else. Yours may be the right way of doing things. If you want to show people the way to go, lead with your heart not virtue.

Better than all the words about a holy day is taking joy in the day.

A blessing before meals is worthwhile. Better yet is the joy of sharing a meal together. In your heart, silently bless those around you. Bless the food, and bless the people.

Be careful about imposing righteousness upon even one person. I do not ask you to be a minister of virtue. I ask you to be a minister of love. That’s it.

Form is not to be idealized. Right action is in love. Love comes before prayer. Righteousness is a poor fellow.

What are you teaching, beloveds? Teach not righteousness. Teach nothing. Let others learn from the blessing of your love. Let the graciousness of love be your teacher, beloveds.

When you feel obliged to improve others, what is that you are to learn? Learn more, teach less. Love more, instruct less. If you must teach, teach without anyone’s knowing that you are teaching. Unless someone asks you to give instruction, of course, then that is different.

Be content. Be content with yourself and others. You are okay.

You are a child of My love. I give you My love. Now give it away. Do not save it for later.

When it comes to money, it may be possible that “Save now, spend later,” is good advice.

When it comes to love, spend it all now. The way to amass love is to spend it. Yet do not give love with the idea of amassing love. You spend love to give it. Give love, for what else do you have to give? In the giving is the splendor.

If you want to know beyond a doubt the value of yourself, then start giving of yourself, for what are you made of but the love you give?
