The Gradual Aspect of Ascension

Now I’d like to go into a little more detail on why our Ascension has to be gradual.
Let me repeat here (from the last article) what Archangel Michael said to me in 2014:
“What you want is the full wave and you will get it. But the Mother is preparing people for it so that they do not end up completely overwhelmed.” (1)
Completely overwhelmed? Are we in danger of that? The Arcturian Group says yes:
“The integration of new and higher frequencies into the physical must be a process as the human body could not withstand the intense higher frequencies were they to integrate all at once. ” (2)
“Spiritual evolution is a gradual unfolding process, as an unprepared physical body could not survive an intense sudden intake of higher frequency energy – [it] would be incapable of handling it. The profound experiences that some indeed may have are the fruit of an attained state of consciousness – hard work done in previous lifetimes.” (3)
And I know the spiritual literature to be full of accounts of people becoming Self-Realized and leaving the body within weeks. So the phenomenon is documented.
Wes Annac’s sources agree:
“Your ascension, which is simply a harmonizing with the higher dimensions, is occurring slowly over time… Anything faster would be a shock to your systems.” (4)
Archangel Gabrielle contributed to the discussion. If we’d “been exposed to the energies that you are in now a mere two years ago,” she said, “many of you would have not been able to sustain it.”
“Your bodies would not have been able to handle the energy, that is how much it has changed but much like you don’t see things grow when they are right under your nose, the growth is gradual and consistent and you don’t see it because you are too close to be able to see the difference. Let us assure you that you have done amazingly well.” (5)
We’d then turn around and resist the energies, the Constant Companions explain:
“Remember, your whole system has been previously geared to maintain status quo at all costs, and as such, it will have more than one reason to rebel in the days and indeed nights ahead as this huge shift continues to unfold.
“For this is, as always, a gradual process, for if not, it would simply render you all unable to cope at all.
“For this is not merely a superficial change. This is something that goes deep down into your very core, and, indeed, the exact same goes for your whole planet.” (6)
The process is also gradual to prepare the population for what to expect, Blossom’s Galactic Federation of Light sources assert:
“One simply cannot ‘spring’ the ‘finale’ on someone … if they have not yet seen the rest of the show … it would seem ‘out of place’.” (7)
It’s also gradual to allow us to distinguish the truth over time, as her sources tell us:
“The unraveling process is a slow one, for it needs to be … in order for Truth to be distinguished. As more and more of ‘Self’ is FELT and acknowledged, then more and more ‘Enlightenment’ can be more and more forthcoming.” (8)
As our awareness expands, as a result of knowing more about our Self, we go through what they call metaphorically an “unravelling process.” I am not my vasanas or core issues. I’m not my thoughts. I’m not my feelings. I am deeper than all those. (9)
How long will our gradual Ascension take? No one knows because ours is a new kind of Ascension, the Angelic Guides explain:
“No one knew how long it would take, how challenging it would be, or if it was even possible. You have certainly proven that it is in fact possible and this is why so much interest is being stirred in the higher realms by watching you each ascend back into fully conscious beings, all the while, remaining in your physical reality.
“Humans find comfort in knowing dates, times, and years; but this is not something we can give you. The exact ‘time’ that you choose to ascend back into the higher realms will be unique to each of you.” (10)
Unique to us? Is Ascension individual? Well, for many lightworkers – essentially those who lead the way – it will be. This is not a shotgun start. Instead, we lightworkers are the leaven in the loaf.
Thus, to prevent disorientation or harm and to avoid stampeding the entire population into thinking that something catastrophic is happening to us, our Ascension process for the most part must be gradual.
