Am I Worthy to Ascend? – Part 2/2

(Concluded from Part 1, yesterday.)
Some folks are wondering what it is that they’re supposed to be doing now. We’ve certainly been waiting for things to shift in a more tangible way. The thing is that if we’re paying attention, there’s an abundance of evidence that things have been subtly adjusting themselves for quite some time now. We aren’t in Kansas any more.
If you’re one who hasn’t gotten a memo about your specific role, it may just be enough to live your life as best you can by following the Four Agreements. (1)
Be impeccable with your word
Take nothing personally
Make no assumptions
Always do your best
We have the choice to live our lives as though the world already is the way we dream it to be.
Goodness knows, we’re busy working our missions while we sleep. Not to mention that during the days (most of them, for me) we just feel spent, and all we can manage is to go through the daily living requirements.
It may feel like not much is happening, but rest assured that no moments are lost here. Conscious awareness of all we do isn’t vital for the success of our endeavors. Can we be okay just knowing that and no more?
Sometimes, on social media when someone comments a dissenting opinion to a post of mine, I’ll respond that whatever situation is in question will unfold as it will no matter how each of us feels about it. I wonder, though, if that’s completely true. It’s good to diffuse contentious energy, but is it strictly accurate to say so?
There’s a factor here that speaks to our innate ability to direct our experience with our thoughts and intentions. We’re writing this story as we go! In this regard, though, as a collective we’re in our toddlerhood. We get the concept and may even be in whole-hearted agreement with it…and there seems to be an elusive missing piece. The missing piece is: Do we believe it?
One way to address any disabling disbelief is through practice. We can do a life review and gather evidence that we’ve drawn certain experiences, both negative and positive, to ourselves. And keep in mind that even the negative ones have value.
Perhaps they have even more value than the good stuff, because we tend to learn from hardship. Difficulty in our lives often brings us to a place of sincere compassion. We absolutely don’t want to see anyone else go through what we’ve gone through without the support to buoy us up.
Our nature is to take action in order to help one another. It’s an aberration to never move to hurt someone else, or ourselves, for that matter. People who do so are carrying their own rather immense pain body.
We can even set it up, if we’re still doubting our power, to experiment with something small, something we want. My dear friend, DT the ET, calls it putting the order in at the kitchen. Say, for example, that I’m wanting a certain outcome from a situation with a friend. I can call it sacred play and just set intention that things go a certain way.
Be clear about it, speak it out loud, focus on it in your daily meditations and add a “make it so” at the end. I even finish with a flourish using my right hand, fingers gathered to my lips and released out into the Universe with an audible sound from my breath.
The most significant block to our ascension, to our creative abilities and to reaching our full and glorious potential as Children of God is a lack of self-esteem. What happens when we recognize ourselves as sparks of the Divine? Are we able to call up any and all reasons we might have for being unworthy and make reparations for them? Can we forgive ourselves and others and let the experiences go?
We know that when any Child of God comes in humility and asks forgiveness, it is given. There’s no need to carry the shame and guilt. It’s done. We need to understand that it isn’t so much what experiences come into our lives as it is what we choose to do with those experiences that matters.
We ALL are worthy of ascension. Even the folks who never heard the word and have no clue that we’re in the very thick of it right now. Live a good life, follow the Four Agreements, make reparations as it’s possible for any wrongdoing and step forward with a sincere and full heart.
