Entry into the Fifth is Not Ascension

I was having an offline conversation with a friend about whether a teacher we both revere was ascended. Let’s call the sage A.
At the time I asked Archangel Michael and he said, no, he was not yet ascended.
But he must have had at least Brahmajnana, God-Realization, seventh-chakra enlightenment to be as serene as he is.
The problem that arose is that sage A is always serene. And my file on Brahmajnana says that its effects are in large part temporary.
What was his secret? I was left to question it.
Then the Divine Mother provided the answer for me. She said that Ascension happens a few subplanes inside the Fifth Dimension.
Let me give her words on the matter but let me divide them into two parts.
In the first we established that sahaja samadhi and Ascension are the same thing.
In the second she described how Sahaja happens several subplanes (what we can think of as subplanes, anyways) into the Fifth Dimension, not upon immediate arrival.
Here’s the first:
Steve Beckow: I’m trying to understand what level of enlightenment Ascension corresponds to, Mother. And I think it’s beyond the normal seventh-chakra enlightenment [i.e., Brahmajnana]. I think it is what is called — and I’ll make this clear to readers — Sahaja Samadhi. Am I correct?
Divine Mother: Yes, it is beyond what you think of with your seven chakras [hence beyond Brahamjnana]. … We have emerged from the Third-Dimensional realm, which is that reference point for the chakra system, into the new [the Fifth]. So yes, you are correct, in this question and in this statement.
SB: It’s wonderful to have that confirmed. Thank you very much, Mother. (1)
I have, since then, written many articles on the subject. Just enter “sahaja” in the search box. That’s the easiest way to find them. Or go to From Darkness Unto Light. (2)
If we left off here an inference could be made that Ascension happens when we enter the Fifth: “We have emerged … into the new.”
I fear that many people will say, “Well, we’re in the Fifth. Where is my full and permanent heart opening?”
In a later discussion the Mother revealed that Ascension happens some time after our arrival in the Fifth:
Steve Beckow: When does Sahaja Samadhi occur, Mother?
DM: It occurs with a more gradual awakening and lifting up. So there is the abrupt “I am not the same.” Then there is the working, the anchoring, and the integration. Then there is another jump, and another jump, and another jump. And you don’t know it — well, some of you do — but you are leap-frogging. And then you will be there.
SB: Are those jumps equivalent to sub-planes?
DM: You can think of them as sub-planes, dimensional sub-planes, yes. (3)
So not on simple arrival. Even though simple arrival will mean drowning in love and bliss forever; there’s more. More to go and more to experience. But the possibility that sage A was in the Fifth though lacking Sahaja now came into view.
What is Sahaja? Sahaja is a full and permanent heart opening. Sri Ramana Maharshi called it by that name.
Sages who stop short of Sahaja are said to be “halfway up the mountain.” The mountaintop is another dimension – the Fifth. Not like we’d have thought of it that way years ago.
My most mature opinion is that we can enter the Fifth Dimension with Brahmajnana, which all of us will have in due course in our gradual journey. And then Sahaja will come later.
So it’s possible for a terrestrial sage like A with at least Brahmajnana to enter the Fifth Dimension and enjoy permanent bliss, without having ascended in Sahaja Samadhi.
If previews reveal the movie, he – and we – will all be fully-satisfied in due course.
