Service to Self vs. Service to Others – Part 2/2

The key question in determining one’s path of service is one of motive, that which drives us to perform certain actions. Continuing this line of thought, it can be argued that every action that we take can fall into one of the two categories of service- service-to-self, or service-to-others.
Consistently making decisions that align to one of the paths causes us to become ‘polarised’ on that path. Earth is a third dimensional planet with free will and opportunity for both polarisations. It is possible to evolve spiritually on either path while on Earth. This is why there is such a mix of attitudes and behaviours amongst people. This translates to a mix of different systems, structures and institutions.
After attaining a certain threshold of polarisation, we can then ‘graduate’ into a higher dimension of that polarity. In the case of many saints and sages of the past, this resulted in their individual ascensions. Ra gives the threshold for ascension on both paths as follows: 51% positively oriented or 95% negatively oriented.
“The entity who wishes to pursue the path of service to self must attain a grade of five, that is five percent service to others, ninety-five percent service to self. It must approach totality. The negative path is quite difficult to attain harvestability (ascension) upon and requires great dedication.”
Ra calls this graduation into a higher dimension the ‘harvest’ and stated that the imminence of the planetary harvest period upon Earth is the reason that they initiated contact in the first place. To assist individuals in their ascension upon the positively polarised path through their teachings.
This harvest period corresponds with the End of Kali Yuga and is often termed as Ascension. According to the Divine plan, Earth is ascending to a fifth dimensional positively polarised reality. Negatively polarised entities will not be able to exist in this dimension.
What happens to the negatively polarised entities upon harvest or ascension?
If they are sufficiently polarised they will graduate to a fourth or higher dimensional reality of negative polarisation. They will not be on the ascended fifth dimensional positively polarised Earth.
Upon that dimension they will continue their spiritual evolution in the negative polarisation until a certain point whereby they will switch to positive polarisation. Here is what Ra has to say on the matter:
“The sixth-density negative entity is extremely wise. It observes the spiritual entropy occurring due to the lack of ability to express the unity of sixth density. Thus, loving the Creator and realizing at some point that the Creator is not only self but other-self as self, this entity consciously chooses an instantaneous energy reorientation so that it may continue its evolution.”
Apparently, following a path of service-to-self causes much contraction within the individual Self and usually at mid-sixth density the individual instantly switches over to a mid-sixth dimensional positive polarisation. However, Ra affirms that there are a few individual entities who maintain negative polarisation beyond the sixth density. Note that although there is a subtle difference between the terms density and dimension, for our purposes we use the terms interchangeably.
With the Earth being on the cusp of a planetary ascension, most souls would have made their decision by now of whether they will ascend with the Earth to a fifth dimensional positive dimension, or move to another planet where they can evolve according to their own pace. Still, it is in our best interests to examine our motives for each action to see upon which philosophy it is based. This way, we can gauge our own progress.
