(Golden Age of Gaia)
(via email)
Throughout my life, I always thought if I could be bigger than my fears, I’d no longer be overwhelmed by them. I’d even thought, “Once I can be bigger than the overwhelm I feel in my family, nothing they say will bother me.”
I would even imagine being bullied less often, if only I could be bigger than those who singled me out for being different.
Whether it was trying to bigger or better than whatever seemed to bind me to my most painful experiences, I spent an incredible amount of my life trying to constantly be different, as if who I already was somehow wasn’t good enough.
Even when I’d receive clear feedback on how talented, valuable, and worthy I was, I couldn’t help but feel how much more perfect life would play out if only I could somehow be other than myself.
Then one day, an inner voice began to speak, “What if it’s the constant need to be bigger or other than yourself that often gets in the way of being yourself – – in all of your inherent greatness, miraculous glory, and splendor?”
This question brought forth a huge surge of presence and peace that I would spend many years unpacking its deepest meaning and integrating each insight into a newly-embodied state of being.
Perhaps you may have found yourself wondering if or even insisting how much better things would be if only you could be bigger or other than who you are right now.
Even while pondering the validity of such a question, the universe continually honors how you show up throughout each breath as the highest fulfillment of each passing moment.
Perhaps just like I once felt, from a personal perspective, it may be easy to conclude that any imbalances you find in yourself or triggers that surface could not possibly be the highest possibility of this moment.
What if the highest possibility is not just what happens, but how each moment acts as a set-up of evolutionary expansion—inviting you into your next highest level of alignment that unfolds incrementally through the perfection of divine timing?
As you feel into the power of these words, you are gifted with insights that remain pure, clear, and ever-present, no matter how deeply you wish things were different or how often you compare yourself with others.
This is the heart of self-acceptance.
From this space, we won’t need to be bigger than our past, other than ourselves, or better than anyone in view. We can just abide as the uniqueness of Truth taking shape and form in the most extraordinary way Source has ever been informed before.
Sending blessings of acceptance from my heart to yours.
All for Love,
Matt
