What you Resist, Persists | Matt Kahn
(Golden Age of Gaia)
(email)
If joy can arise unexplainably, why imagine that having a deeper understanding of pain will make it dissolve, or that having pain means there’s something more you are supposed to know?
It is most likely due to an age-old phrase that says:
“What you resist — persists.”
The key to this phrase is realizing it pertains to those along a self-absorbed narcissistic spectrum, who project and deflect away from any degree of vulnerability and self-awareness; having nothing to do with the heart-centered journey of an empath, who cannot help but feel everything within themselves as well as others.
As empaths, when you know how to allow pain to be as unexplainable as joy, your entire relationship with emotional polarity shifts on contact.
This is the birthing of grace.
