Drop into Your Center
Prageet: We have been so programmed into being negative to focus on what's wrong.
Jules: My aïkido teacher gave me the perfect example of this. It's like when someone grabs your wrist. If you focus where you're stuck, you won't be able to get free. But if you actually drop into your center and you focus on all the space around you where you're already free, you can just pivot and it's as if nothing's actually even holding you. Hmm. So, it's the difference between focusing on what's not working, where you're stuck, where you feel limited, versus focusing on all the space that's opening up all around you.
