(Golden Age of Gaia)
Just to illustrate for you what a goldmine a collection of the Mother’s messages is, I am nearly vibrating over here with what I just came across.
In the course of compiling the Mother’s messages through Linda from the pages of the Golden Age of Gaia, I came across what is for me a restatement of the vision I had on Feb. 13, 1987. I guess I’d better give a short sketch of it first. (1)
Factor in that while all of this is happening, I’m suffused with bliss, which allows me to know what the elements of this wordless tableau were.
While driving to work, I asked the universe: If our early lives are a puzzle, which, when we figure it out, becomes a picture, could it be that life itself is a puzzle and, if so, what is the picture that life is?
Everything went black. (The only thing I didn’t focus my attention on was the blackness. Too bad.)
I’m left staring at a large golden Sun, which I just knew to be God the Father (Brahman, Purusha, Buddha essence). Suddenly out from it flew a small golden star which I knew to be God the Child (the Christ, the Atman, the Self) and then the star disappeared.
I asked myself where did it go? And I found that I had the ability to go where I wanted to so I found myself staring at a large cloud in space, which I knew to be God the Mother (Shakti, the Holy Spirit, Aum/Amen, Procreatrix/Prakriti).
The small golden star, now just a transparent circle, was wending its way through a coil which I knew to be lifetimes in matter.
If I descended to its level, as if I was on a subway platform, and looked either down the track or up the track, this is what it would look like:
Lifetimes in matter, ahead and behind
Then, all of a sudden, its light flashed back on and it stood, so to speak, on the edge of the cloud. Then just as suddenly it streaked back to the Father and disappeared in it. I knew both of these events to be stages of enlightenment.
I sat in amazement and looked at it all. There was the Father; there the Mother. The spark went from God to God by way of matter (mater, Mother).

Then comes this. The Mother mentions the basic components of my vision in the following excerpt from An Hour with an Angel. I nearly fell out of my chair reading it. She doesn’t use the exact words, but she touches on all the bases. The emphasis is mine.
Most of you envision your journey of spirit, and we do not just mean of this lifetime or this incarnation, but the entirety of your journey, as basically being birthed from our heart as a beautiful speck of light and love, and traveling, transforming, morphing, assuming so many various forms. …
You venture forth out into the multiverse in all your splendor. …
The totality of your experience is intended — your environment, your thoughts, your heart, your entire experience — to be reflective of what you know to be true [the truth of who you are]. …
Now, in this journey — for some of you it is millennia, for some of you it is eons; it matters not — there is a drive and an understanding, an intellectual and spiritual understanding that your drive is to make the U-turn and to come back home [Steve: this is the longing for liberation; the journey is from God to God], to return home to the heart of One where you are so welcome, until such time as you choose to emanate again. (2)
Wow, that traces the entire journey of a soul from God to God. In ten years of searching for another account of the vision, as far as I ever got was Jesus saying:
“I came forth from the Father, and am come out into the world: again, I leave the world and go to the Father.” (3)
So to have the Divine Mother herself confirm decades of research is beyond my wildest dreams as a student of cross-cultural spirituality.

Now let me add another piece to the puzzle.
After the Child merged with the Father, I simply sat and looked at all of it. Until now the experience had been wordless. Now the words formed in my mind: The purpose of life is enlightenment. And the vision vanished.
How many words have I written fleshing out that one sentence?
Interviewing the Divine Mother allowed me to ask her to verify that message. Here is that discussion:
Steve: You say that is the way [life] has been designed. What is the way it has been designed, Mother? …
I mean, the Source, the One wants to know itself. Is that correct?… And it can’t because it’s everything. So it’s taken the aspect of Yourself and designed a universe in order for us to learn our true identities. The moment of Enlightenment is when God meets God. Is that correct?
Divine Mother: That is correct. (4)
Is there any higher source to ask? Put yourself in my shoes. Until now, all has been speculation. But now the One has confirmed it. Would you not be breaking out the champagne, howling to the moon?
One reason the book is taking so long (aside from its length) is that every page sends me off to write some article or make an entry in a database – to bring the information online in some way.
I’d never have dreamed I’d be permitted to work with the Divine Mother’s teachings – as given in the present moment, verbally.
And now that I’m doing it, I can tell you: If they want to move me, they’re going to have to move me in this chair. Because I found what I want to do and I ain’t moving. One’s mission is like this.

(3) While very sparse, this too is a description of the vision. It has other levels of meaning as well, such as Jesus declaring his avatarhood.
