Happy, Loving, and Blissful | Steve Beckow

I’m waiting for the other Presidential shoe to drop and, while I do, using the Mother’s Pause to go deeper and deeper inside. And get clearer on some matters.

Here’s one. I think the vast majority of people would be very satisfied if they were happy. I think a smaller section of people would be satisfied if they felt loving. Another smaller section, if they felt blissful.

If you felt happy, loving, AND blissful, well, come on down!

But that’s what it’s all about for most of us, isn’t it? To feel happy and, better still, loving and blissful.

However, the longing for liberation, the deep-seated, subtidal thirst for enlightenment, put there by God to keep us moving toward her, won’t let us sit forever in self-satisfied detachment from the world. (1)

It’s there to tug on us, pull us, make all worldly things taste stale after a while.

Sooner or later it moves us to get up and take the next steps on our return journey to the Mother/Father One. (2)

With very few distractions these days, I can’t successfully avoid myself if I wanted to. And what I see amazes and encourages me. I notice when I laugh, it’s proportionate to things. It’s neither choked off because I’m tense nor forced because I’m nervous.

The joker in the deck is the rising vibrations. Perhaps nothing I’m doing is making my laugh ring “true.” Perhaps all of it is due to the tsunami of love.

The self-serving bias would have me claim responsibility for all victories and gains and only wiggle away from defeats and losses.

This is a gain so I attribute it to me.

But so much is falling away. And bliss erases any memory of self-servingness.

I am at this moment enjoying simply breathing. I appreciate the moment as the gateway to bliss. I breathe into it and – like clockwork -it arises and I just want to sit here… enjoying it….
