God said:

Beloveds, you can be sure that your purpose in life is not to make corrections. There are many things in Earth life that you simply have to let go of. It is not for you to improve anyone but yourself. And in preference to your improving yourself, I would recommend that you love yourself. That would be great improvement.

Loving yourself doesn’t mean that anything goes. It doesn’t mean doting on yourself. It just means being kind. It means being welcoming. It means being accepting. It also means recognizing that you are doing as best you can and that you would do well not to make excessive demands on yourself. It means giving yourself success rather than judgment. Do not be mean to yourself. Be a friend. Slap yourself on the back. You are giving life a good run for its money. You need not ask yourself to stretch more and more. Sometimes it is good to be satisfied.

The kinder you are to yourself, the kinder you will be to the world.

If there are ten faults you see in a situation or in a mate or a child, and only one pleasant one, pay attention to the pleasant one and that’s how you increase pleasantness in the world. Other people are well aware of their own discrepancies. They don’t need to be reminded of them. If your child got a D on his report card, he knows it. Love comes before grades. Love comes before anything.

Someone picked at you, and now you turn around and pick at yourself and anyone else nearby. You have had this edge of dissatisfaction, and now it is time to file that edge off. Smooth the edges of yourself. It is better to smile than to frown.

You do not have to win every race. You do not have to enter every race.

You are here on Earth to be pleased. That is the platform to come from. No one has to please you, but you are here to be pleased. Given a choice, choose acceptance over displeasure. And you are given a choice. At every moment you have choice, to belittle or to encourage. And this includes yourself.

No longer need you battle with yourself. The war is over. Peace has been declared. The age of discontent is at an end.

Life is not meant to be a confrontation. Be amenable to life in the world. Enough objecting to it. You are not in a court of law. Consider that you are in a pavilion of love. You are among friends. And, if you find you are not, still be a friend to yourself. Do not consider yourself damaged. You like to walk on air, but for a while your feet may be in a mud puddle. Even mud has its therapeutic value.

Ask yourself what you want in life, and you will find that it is not so much as you have thought. You want a little peace and quiet, a little sun and a little shade. Make an oasis in the desert. Be the oasis.

You are not meant to be the whipping post of life. You are meant to be a hero. Be a hero to yourself. Be valiant. Be there for yourself. Befriend yourself. It is not you before everyone else, but it is not you after everyone else either.

When you are on an even keel, you don’t have the need to think about yourself as first or as last. You don’t have the need to think.

When you walk through a flower garden, you feel the love of the universe. Carry that love with you. That is how you sow the seeds of love in the good Earth of the universe.
