Doubt | Poem by Daughter of Terra

Doubt

I once knew this man named Doubt

So sluggish he was in all his dealing and how he choose to walk about

He was very crafty with his tools; always Mr. No, and he made it so appealing

So revealing

Oh, how his reasons made so much sense

How easy it was for me to believe him

And then one day

I stopped listening – I through away his information and facts.

I took my life back

I was a millionaire and what he was offering; albeit convincingly was a few cents.

Instead of listening to him...I fell in love with my own knowing and I haven’t heard him sense.

I Am. Daughter of Terra
